Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks. I msged him 2 days ago in reddit but no response so far. Since Ringplus transferred their services to Ting, I emailed him for a ticket and their response is for me to open up an account with them. Yeah right.
Is it a prepaid phone (Boost etc.)?

Most phones on RingPlus were prepaid phones and those are never going to go on this plan anyway, FED notwithstanding, no matter what.

All of mine were and are. In all likelihood yours is also.

Even when he was doing mvno flags, LiterallyUnlimited would never touch prepaid phones.

The prepaid flags are completely different from the mvno flag getting set on a postpaid phone, which is the only case that can be put on this plan after flipping the mvno flag to SPCS.

The vast majority of Ring Plus phones cannot go on this plan at all, ever.

You can call Ting support and they can look at it since they took over the line from RingPlus. People say they will do so, even for phones long gone elsewhere since.

Does this plan include free 2G data while roaming? Does roaming work in GSM countries?

This was just asked and answered multiple times in the past 2 days. Please read the Wiki and read back 2 days worth of posts.

Of course it supports GSM since almost the whole world is GSM.

BUT you have to have a phone that has the needed bands of course. Most new phones sold for use on Sprint have at least a usable subset of such bands. The reason they are there is for roaming.

Remember that sprint is not GSM. So iPhones which were configured for ATT won't work.

Sure you can keep the phone after you pay it off.

You probably have model A1549(no band 41 by the way).
If you have A1586 then probably not the activation policy problem.
I assume they double checked imei and iccid, ran codes ##clear# and ##update#. Best guess activation policy is 10 instead of multimode 2303. So is not allowing CDMA.
You'll probably need to order Apple gsx report from eBay for 99 cents. Then contact Apple to update activation policy.

So my model number is A1633

That's a 6S. Should be ready to go out the box. Try some of these troubleshooting tips, as found from the wikipost:

That is an iPhone 6s not a 6. It was sold by Att, some mvnos, or as sim free. Without knowing history of phone still may suspect activation policy, if other troubleshooting didn't work and sprint verified Imei and iccid

I personally wouldn't recommend this if you are on the fence. Sprint service isn't great. Even though I live in an excellent service area according to their service maps, I get one bar. It's all fine since it's free, but what really makes me say to avoid this is the way you are treated like a second rate citizen. I had an issue and went to a corporate store and was basically told they can't do nothing for me since I didn't have a real plan with them. I asked if they could give me a sim card since I needed one and they said they couldn't since I'm not a costumer. This is despite reports ive read here about corporate stores being able to help. fark commissions I guess.

I called on the phone to try and buy one of their phones and the guy was super happy and then immediately started telling me he can't help me and I'd have to buy the phone and then offered me to speak to his supervisor. I said I was trying to pay full price for the phone, but then he then put me on hold in the middle of my sentence and the supervisor answered. Then I call back and tried to order the phone and the lady spent six weeks explaining to me how she can't get me my phone until 120 days. I told her I wanted to pay full price, but the website wouldn't let me order the device and she said I would need to wait 120 days unless I pay outright. I told her I was going to pay full price and she said, "Sir if order you the phone you are going to lose your BYOD benefits. You are going to have to pay full price." I sat there like, it's what I am trying to do. I just wanted that Pre owned iPhone 7 for 249. I ended up not getting anything because they were no help and I kept getting a red bar when I tried to order from the website.

Not to mention if you manage anything online Sprint Protection always gets added to your account for some reason. Ive had to call to remove it twice in the two months Ive had the service.

Yes they give free phones and free service if you ask very nicely and give the special secret code phrase: " OAC in 2020"
I did it. Believe me.

It's not a golden throne but most SD'ers know how to get it done on a porcelain throne.
