Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

How does the Z2 force compare with the Moto X4? I'm trying to decide which to get.
Its probably a downgrade for me as I'm giving my Galaxy S8 to my wife and getting one of these.

I moved to Sprint, but after activation it says "FREE Unlimited data, talk and text until 9/30/19".
But when I signed up the page said 3/31/2020.

Not sure wth happened. Anyone else faced this?

TIA.

Has anyone been able to successfully activate s10+? I have the correct SIM card inserted that displays Sprint. IMEI being inputted is correct, checked multiple times. However, the phone number I am trying to port is from prepaid virgin mobile on my old phone. The S10+ itself is the unlocked version bought directly from samsung.

Thank you.

Did you just sign up? Cause it take a bit for the account on Sprint.com to reflect the end date. Usually seems like Sprint takes about a day or so for everything to settle in, including phone provisions.

It'll definitely be a downgrade from an S8. I'd prefer the Z2 to an X4. Z2 has Snapdragon 835, very good battery life, bigger screen etc etc. Only negative is the easy to scratch screen. Had to put an armor shield screen protector on it right away.

Everybody gets that and it is answered in Note 10 in the Wiki.
(Edit: edog11 posted this ahead of me I see but also beat me now in updating his post).

You cannot port in from Virgin normally because Virgin is Sprint.

However if they accepted it already maybe it will slip through.

Check Port status as per the steps in the Wiki.

Also that may not be the issue you are having.

What is the actual issue you are having? Are you getting a message that the imei for you s10+ cant be used for this? Or? How do you know its the "correct" sim card? Did you check it on the list in the wiki? Going to need more details.

Edit: Didn't notice (as comintel pointed out) that the port was coming from Virgin.

Yes it is the correct sim card. Comintel and myself went over this several days ago about the sim card needed. I am using the 416Q from the 4-1 pack which displays Sprint on the screen as already mentioned in my original post. If it was the wrong sim, it wouldn't display Sprint.

This has nothing to do with the SIM card, but the IMEI number and phone number itself.

The exact error is
"Ineligible, the phone or port in number does not qualify for this offer"

So if its the virgin phone number thats the problem, how can I convert it to sprint?

You will have to port it elsewhere first as a preliminary step.

Do you know the cheapest and fastest way to go about that while keeping my original phone number from virgin mobile?

Cheapest would be TMobile Prepaid and there are voluminous details on how to do that in the Wiki.

Fastest is debatable.

You need port only the number. It is not necessary to activate the phone itself elsewhere at the interim number-porting step.
