Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You can port number one at a time rights I want to try service first before porting all 5 of my lines over and does Sprint fo wifi calling on unlocked gsm phones
I use WiFi call on iPhone 7 Plus on sprint but I don't think GSM only phones would work on the sprint network. My iPhone 7 is a sim free version from the Apple store and can work on all networks. Some moto g can also do the same

The 6s and essential would mostly be fine with sprint but not all iPhone 7 models are created equal.
You would need the A1660 model, not the a1778. See Settings > General > About > tap Model

See wiki's link for the eligible phones list.

Assuming next month is the last for signups, are you guessing that they will end new signups on the second Friday (Apr 12) or that they will just not announce another extension on that date and still take signups thru April? I realize I'm merely asking for your expert opinion. I ported out recently with the goal of signing up again for another year after 45 days, but 45 days just happens to be Saturday Apr 13. That's why I sure hope they don't end signups on Apr 12!
At this point it's anyone's guess.

I would like to sign up for my 2nd year ASAP, before the offer goes away. Therefore, leaving now for 45 days is a risky option. I would like to do the relative option.

My relative has agreed, but they do not have Sprint coverage in their area. When they call in to sign up, is Sprint going to allow them to sign up for the offer, if their zip code comes up as not in their service area? What if my relative simply tells them that they travel a lot, and prefer this offer?

Thanks again for the help and troubleshooting. The problem still persists. As you said, they were back to enable after the PRL update.
There was an patch update for the phone, which I applied. The problem is still there.
After searching more on google, found that S10 is having lots of issues at sprint. enven the stores are having issues., i guess I will wait little while so that they fix it. in the mean time VoLTE is my friend, at least it works.

As far the other phones, yes they work. I have two other sprint lines in the house and they work, they are not necessarily sprint phones, but unlocked, I have Pixel 3, it works fine.
I had my S8 worked great for 1.5 years and still does. Holding on for another few days before i have to send it for tradein.
I Learned a lot today regarding all these things, most of us do not realize as we never see those problem.
I will keep it updated, as i found more things and when it gets better.
saw on another thread chat by an sprint rep, so i just had a chat with the sprint rep, and asked him to run these for their side: 3 refreshes. Voice services, LTE UICC services, and vision data/mms services
After this the calls are better, same 8 tries, success was 5 times.
Also LTE speeds is terrible as well, 1.2Mbps d/l and 0.86 u/l

Ah since other phones ring ok yes there should be good prospects of a fix. HOWEVER this is not a Sprint-branded phone and Sprint may not give it the highest priority if it affects only the unbranded factory-unlocked model in a few areas {not that we know either way whether that is the case or not).

Most likely it is related to the new VoLTE code, even when you are not using VoLTE. Hmm maybe there is a reason Samsung has been so slow releasing VoLTE beyond S8 and a couple of other phones! Maybe the code still has issues (even when VoLTE is disabled)!

It could alternatively be VoLTE routing issues in your area or how they interact with this phone.

I do think you could probably freeze the system update app with third-party software to lock on band disablement. Or, as you say, wait a little for now.

Hi guys, I just call in today to port in 2 lines for the very first time, the CSR waived the $30 activation fee.
Got good signals. So I am happy.

I want to port in my wife's number in as well. But hate to stay on the phone for almost 2 hours to do this. Would be it easier to do this online, or is there any extra charge for online?

You can add it to the existing account which should take no more than 5 to 10 minutes since there is no credit check involved to add subsequent lines.

You have to call to do so. You cannot add a second line online.
