Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

By now every guest here should have seen this notice on the first page of this thread and in the Wiki:

Update: The official end date to sign-up for this offer is 4/4/19 (and will not be extended again). Plans will remain active for one year from your sign-up date (promotion discount will be retired in full on 4/30/2020).

There was a hint on this in my post last week:

I happen to think 4/4 is probably the correct end date based on the SlickDeals article and the fact many Sprint plans are ending on that date. However in my opinion people should not be posting things in the Wiiki without stating a verifiable source. It may be edited out again by someone else (and probably should be unless the poster states a verifiable source)...

Does anyone know why my T-Mobile S10+ is not elligible for this plan? I paid full price for it at Costco.
All S10's except the factory unlocked version are restricted by Samsung to the original carrier for the better part of a year after release.

If I ask Tmobile to unlock my phone (after 40 days), would I be able to use it on Sprint, especially on this free plan?

The Source of this is RevOne, the SlickDeals editor who posted this yesterday on the first page of this thread.

There is an issue of the first page of this thread showing the original SlickDeals notice IF you are already logged in or you go to it from another web site like Google, not logged in.

Please read my post right above:

"The Source of this is RevOne, the SlickDeals editor who posted this yesterday on the first page of this thread.

There is an issue of the first page of this thread showing the original SlickDeals notice IF you are already logged in or you go to it from another web site like Google, not logged in."

Just go to Google, search for "sprint one year free byod ends" and click on the Slickdeals result near the top. You should see the SD notice then.
Also, RevOne has posted this on the first page of this thread right after the OP.

The Wiki now clearly reflects the above SD Notice.

I still do not get the SD Notice you are referring to but I do see that he has added it to post 2 as you say.

I just think we need to be careful.

However it is slightly odd because he used the exact same wording as was posted in this thread by another user previously. So I do not know whether he just took it from that post? Unless possibly that user is really Sprint Marketing and he knows that?

I just think we need to be careful.

As I stated there an issue with the SD Notice appearing when you are logged in.

To test just log out of SD (maybe use another browser) and:

Just go to Google, search for "sprint one year free byod ends" and click on the Slickdeals result near the top. You should see the SD notice then right on top of the first page of this thread.

It goes like this and continues with more details about this deal:

"Update: The official end date to sign-up for this offer is 4/4/19 (and will not be extended again). Plans will remain active for one year from your sign-up date (promotion discount will be retired in full on 4/30/2020).

Sprint is offering 1-Year Unlimited Talk, Text & Data for Free (pay only the monthly tax/fees per line) when you bring an eligible unlocked smartphone. Thanks andrewmackoul and comintel

Note, you will be required a purchase a Sprint SIM card to take advantage of this offer (SIM card is $2.99 ea. and $10 shipping & handling + tax).

Plan includes:
..................................................................."

It is HIGHLY likely that Sprint and SlickDeals here are in tune to help and/or clear any confusion/misundestandings.

I tried 3 browsers and still do not get that but yes that is the text of Post 2. Maybe some clients highlight that.

But nevertheless it still is not clear to me whether he posted that from certain knowledge.

I think it is likely though, I agree.

Hopefully they will be wrong again like ultrsoul(corporate sprint). Yes eternal optimist but take steps to minimize risk. The edited post had some errors or missing eligible devices but was reviewed since moto G7 and S10/e/+(without special edition) are on there. So just another post to confuse people about eligible devices.

From the SD post/notice it is HIGHLY likely that Sprint and SlickDeals here are in tune to help and/or clear any confusion/misundestandings.

(Make sure you're logged out of SD to see the SD notice.)

IF still in doubt this may easily be confirmed with the SD moderators/editors by requesting a clarification.

Until then no one here should count on this deal being active past 4/4/2019 (unless one is an eternal optimist!).

ok..so i see:

Update: The official end date to sign-up for this offer is 4/4/19 (and will not be extended again). Plans will remain active for one year from your sign-up date (promotion discount will be retired in full on 4/30/2020).

but still no source.
no proof.
i dont know sd mod rev1 from sd mod autumn

so while it may end on 4/4

i believe the appropriate time to quote that date with some confidence (in wiki for example) is..once SPRINT says that..not a SLICK DEALS mod
