Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

It is the last date of free service.

The last date to sign up may be early next month - see the Wiki.
My free year is ending in May so I wasn't sure if I will need to end it early to get the second year. Thanks for the reply.

Guys,
I just exchanged my note 9 with XS Max. Unfortunately I don't have any corporate sprint stores or apple stores near me. But, BB has boost 4 in 1 sim pack. Can I buy it and use it on sprint for Xs Max? I know wiki mentioned this "Best Buy has a Boost Mobile triple SIM pack which works on Sprint (comes with SIMOLW416Q + SIMOLW506C + SIMOLW506TQ SIM cards inside) http://www.bestbuy.com/site/boost...Id=5887020 "
But I wasn't sure that it will work with max or not?
Any help is appreciated. TIA
No it will not work - that kit is too old and does not have the needed sim. But Best Buy phone repair department will have an individual sim that will work.

Seer the Wiki for a link to the Sim Chart.

You would need to end it early and at this point you would need a different SSN because there are not 45 days left before the anticipated cut-off UNLESS they make an exception for you.

Well you have a darn good point.

The carriers will unlock it on their side but until Samsung brings out its BYOD update 8 months later (edog11 knows the number of months better) - that is just my impression) for that model you cannot actually move it to another carrier.

I agree with you that amounts to a group circumvention of the CTIA Voluntary Unlocking Commitment that they all made. https://api.ctia.org/docs/default...ocking.pdf By making the volntary pledge, they avoided an actual law being passed.

I guess by having Samsung in charge of it, they are pretending they have nothing to do with it!

Samsung has brought out its BYOD "brand switching " update about x (say 8) months after release for all of S8, Note 8, S9.

Note 9 will be next and then many months later S10, of all goes to pattern.
Thanks for the explanation.

Darn it...I already placed the order before your reply. I will cancel the order then.
So, since I don't have the compatible SIM should I placed the order online or still I can contact the 866# and they will ship me the SIM for free and waive the activation too?

Can I avoid the new SIM kit if I have a Pixel 3 w/eSIM built-in or is Sprint still playing that game where you MUST buy a new SIM card kit even if you already have one?

How did you know they're not going to expand it again?

You can just order from https://shop.sprint.com/mysprint/...ffi liate

for $2.99

That kit does cover the new iPhones.

I think that is the best way. Then when it comes, call the number ending in 8777 given on the Wiki to activate, as also explained on the Wiki. There will be no activation fee charged even temporarily that way.

XS Max needs SIM part number ending in 416TQ or 516TQ -- the Boost 3in1 kit doesn't have it

I will temporarily exist in denial and believe in unicorns and hope that the deal does not end for signups on 4/4 as my first year is ending 4/30. I plan to port out 4/1 and hope that this deal gets extended at least 1 more signup period as I do not have a family member who I can get to sign up. If not, it's been a great ride and I'm truly grateful for the 1 year of unlimited free service.
