Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

~3/12/19. While there is no official word from Sprint yet.. slickdeal staff/mods/writers suggest no more new sign ups after 4/4/19. This offer will not be extended again. Existing plans will remain active for one year from your sign-up date (promotion discount will be complete in full on 4/4/2020). Read about it here https://slickdeals.net/article/list/sprint-free-year-of-unlimited-service-promotion/?src=article_fp_module_mw

I see this in the wiki and have a question.
I have successfully signed up for the plan a couple of days ago and would like to add another line at the end of April. Will I be able to do it or do I need to do it before 04/04/2019? Thanks.

I am currently a Sprint customer. Can I cancel my account and sign up for this? I think they finally figured out what their monthly rate should be. All this time I have been paying $60 plus instead of Zero for this terrible service.

Only problem is the Wifi tether router app only works if your using Super SU which is not really used or updated anymore.
But, as long as it works it may be used.
Also, Magisk may be used, see these links:

"Fortunately, it's not the be-all-end-all it once was, and there are other—arguably better—solutions available at this point. The obvious choice here is Magisk, which is essentially an evolved form of root access and SuperSU all baked into one product.

Many users have already moved on from SuperSU to Magisk, but if you've been holding out on making the change, now may be the time to go for it. Magisk improves rooted system in nearly every possible way, so it's really the way to go at this point anyway. Fortunately, we have a guide on how to get started, which should make the transition as seamless as possible. Godspeed."

You can, but you MUST READ the Wiki of this thread.
You need another person's Social Security # to do this.
And you MUST do it before April 4, 2019, about 2.5 weeks from now.

All current Sprint phones are also eligible, and therefore not all listed one by one.

So LS997, the Sprint model, is eligible. What the list is saying is that no non-Sprint V20 models are eligible, since none are listed. So it still conveys useful information on that.

Yes.

That means somebody is spoofing your number.

In other words they are using special equipment to pretend to be your number.

Often it is just random. They are probably just another illegal telemarketer choosing random numbers to spoof.

I tried getting this promotion yesterday. After giving all my information including the valid IMEI and phone number, I was transferred to the credit department. Then I answered several questions, and next thing I know is that I was denied. I cannot reapply for the next 60 days and they wouldn't even tell me the reason why I got denied. I know that I try calling the credit department again, but I am not sure if it's worth my time after spending 1+hour trying to activate a line. What a frustrating process.

That means that you did not answer the identity questions "correctly", or at least that's what they their information says.

So theoretically they think you are not who you say. But really they are aware it is often wrong.

Try calling the credit dept at the number given in the Wiki or the other ways suggested. Or maybe go to a Corporate store with lots of ID.

It will be worth it!

Thanks, that's helpful info ....but how would I know this by reading...

I agree, you would not know. But we do!

It's probably a stupid marketing decision - they are trying to attract people from other carriers who would not have Sprint phones. They do not want to attract the attention of existing Sprint customers who would have Sprint phones and would be downgrading plans..

But it does say in one place elsewhere that you can also use any current Sprint phone. And in fact they will accept them. I have even activated Sprint flip phones.

By the way, I believe what was meant in the earlier reply was that lots of people are using Sprint V20's and there are lots of mentions of that in this thread if you search it.
