Are you able to remove it in your online account? I've tried a few times in the last 2 hours.
I keep getting an internal error message.
There was no way to get the rep to complete the process without agreeing to it. I had to waste 15 mins reading nicely. Finally caved in just so I could get it completed.
Just use chat to remove it. This has been mentioned quite often.

How many days do we have to take it off before there is a prorated charge?
The chat though the app keeps saying all the reps are busy and to try later.

It charges you $.50 a day so it is not much.

Anyone know whether there is any requirement of how many days I can wait after getting the sim card?
I still need to stay in Google Fi until 4/9 to avoid claw back of the Gift Cards received.
Thinking to sign up the Plan on 4/3 but not activate it until 4/10.
Would it be possible?
This past Wednesday I used a T-Mobile digital SIM that I got on Ebay back in mid October of 2018 and it worked just fine. I bought 4 back then and as of now they all error out and cannot be reused.

Never mind!!!! I misunderstood the question. I don't believe my answer is applicable to your question....

thanks! but Sprint checker still returns with message: "your device can be activated"! i guess i'll have to wait another MONTH!?!?!?!??!? Mad Mad
It really should have happened as you say.

We have to deal with it in terms of their internals I think which actually are positive because it seems the update is out. Now we just need the IMEI's updated.

Hopefully my post to Sprint Community may trigger something.

If I had one myself I would also post on reddit (and S4gru and maybe Samsung's site although they always play dumb) to try and provoke action.

Maybe edog11 has some ideas as to why the IMEI's have not been updated now that the update is apparently out. I would guess things may just be backed up over the S10 teething problems, which are at crisis level, with an emergency update pending.

You could try asking them to add your IMEI to the database manually now at a corporate store or at Sprint Community or on reddit. There was no point doing this until the update was out, but it is now out.

I think I would post on reddit Sprint subreddit and just ask for help adding the IMEI. If you want results, leave off any outrage and anger because this feature is not late at all. It always comes out at about this stage of every recent Samsung phone's release.

ok, so i'm currently on boost mobile.

looking through the wiki, it looks like my best option to port my number to t-mobile with the 3 dollar plan, then port to sprint.

is this correct?
Yes that will work.

If you want to use the same phone, it may need to be released by Boost if you bought it from them at a subsidized price.

When say the end, is the page transient or is it the last page and just stays on the screen.

TIA
The account number will stay on the screen as long as you don't close the window. The PIN itself is set earlier in the process and will not show up again.

So, after reading the very complete information (thank you poster), I conclude I cannot activate a new phone with a new number on this plan. Is that correct?

sorry in advance if this has been answered already -

If I BYOD and port in to Sprint effectivly starting new service on 2 lines, is there any reason i wouldn't be able to continue using those phones used for the BYOD on other carriers? I am planning to be on Tmobile for 2 months until i get a rebate i'm waiting for and and can then port my real numbers in to sprint. So additionally, there won't really be any activity on those lines either for those first couple months. Do any of those things seem like they might be an issue for this deal?

Some have posted cancellation of Sprint accounts by Sprint for non-use. These seem to be rare, extreme cases
Maybe use Sprint occasionally for those two months just to play safe.
No other limitation that I'm aware of to using tmo sim.

I was going to ask this question. I tried twice yesterday, got charged both times, and the last Porting department person told me they were cancelled both times without any real explanation.

My contract ends 7/31. I have the old Tmobile sim cards from July. Will these still work? Is it wise to sign up for the third year early?
Thx

I had to get a new digital sim and I'm signing up early as well. Wouldn't want to miss out on another year. Porting to t mobile is proving to be annoying today.
