I just tried calling T-Mobile, and it's a mess. They ported me from Sprint, but I didn't pay for the plan like I did online. Not sure if that is normal? Anyway, the guy won't give me the account number. I asked for it like 20 times, and he said the only way he can get that would be to send me a text message and to verify a code. Well, it's a digital SIM, so I obviously can't activate on their network to receive their message.

I'm going to try to call Sprint and just port with the 1 + phone number "account number" trick that others have used, but if that fails, I have no idea what I'm going to do. T-Mobile obviously has the phone number at this point, but I'm in trouble if I can't get my account number. This sucks. Any ideas?

Can the free lines be converted to SWAC or $25/line kickstart at the end of the year, or will I be stuck with the crappy $120/three lines plan unless I port out?

This happened to someone else.
Don't remember what they did.
One idea.
Go to store.
See if they can help.

Do you happen to know if the 1+account number is the account number if you activate over the phone, or is that old information at this point? If this doesn't work, I'll probably have to go to T-Mobile and pray I can figure this out without losing my number.

I tried to buy a SIM card on the Tmobile web site , and that seems to be proceeding deeper than when I select I have my own sim. Not sure if they are trying to make it more difficult.

Okay, thankfully the 1 + account number trick worked, and the port completed. My two lines (with the proper numbers) are back on Sprint.

Thats definitely good news. When did you pay and how did you get your PIN.

Looks like the account number is 1+Ph number

Hi, did you have to pay $3 if you ported online? Or you ported over phone and didn't pay $3 ? Thanks.

Never paid at all. I set the pin with the first rep who then couldn't give me the account number that I set it for. 🤔

I tried online, but it looked broken with error messages like yesterday. I didn't force it since yesterday was a mess when I did that

Thanks a lot for the reply. When you called in , did you tell the agent that you chose $3 plan? What plan you told them you would use? Thanks again.
