Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I think he meant he went thru the online process and got charged, but the # never ported to T-Mobile.

Same things happened to me. I tried to ported 2 line to TM online, got charged $3 each but porting never went thru. I had to call TM to manually port both of them over. As of now one of them is on TM but the 2nd one is still stuck at Sprint.
Oh I see.

came back from work late, and the telesale number is off, so try to save time by activating the plan online. Ported a tmobile number, but 5 hours later, the tmobile sim card still works, and the Sprint sim card still shows no service/not activated. Does anyone know why?

Thanks to all the great information on Wiki and the help here, I was able to port two numbers and start a new Sprint Account.

I want to get rid of the Sprint Complete which the Agent put on my account. I keep getting error messages when I try to do it online. Is the only way through Chat? Is there a simpler way to remove Sprint Complete from my plan? Thanks.

Sometimes the last confirmation won't go through online. It's very easy to have it removed through chat

I spent over 3 hours on the phone with Telesales last night to try and port in a number. They kept hanging up on the phone halfway through the process and I would have to restart the entire conversation.

Anyone else have bad luck with them yesterday night?

I got hung up on once and then had iccid number entered wrong, took 4 hours total to add a line...one of the cheapest Friday night dates in awhile Smilie

Edit to add: T-Mobile agent wouldn't give me my account number, so after 1 hour, I just called Sprint and started port back using 10 digit phone number ( t-mob charged me no money at port in).

Same happened to me too. In the process When we get to the point the csr will start reading the terms and conditions the line was dropped. They never call back to the given number. In Both instances I rejected the extras the csr offered. The third time a different csr she very subtly said she added in sprint protection or whatever it is called and I let it go and this time the process got completed with no other event. Seems if they cannot add an extra during the activation they hung up. It couldn't be coincidence two times in a row

Easy to get the sprint complete with chat bot. Not sure why people are fighting this? We are getting a year of service free, and cant spend few mins to take care of this?

Dang. I was really hoping ebay would release an end-of-quarter Q today -- one that doesn't exclude cell phones this time. Sadwalk

Got my third line from GV ported yesterday and got activated today. Took 2 mins to get the activation done.

So far A++ customer service from Sprint and if some one complaining about their CS, they should introspect on what they are getting and how little they are paying.. just my 2cents..

Seems like - if the rep doesn't appear to have a foreign accent, then you will get a drop call. Maybe we should start asking where they are located.

SD threads and google search A+. Sprint mostly no customer service(self service) but they're not much different than other provider companies service.

So being impatient, i tried to add an unactivated phone to my existing plan. (end date of 3-31-20) Having procured a new tmobile sim, i tried the link in the wiki to activate on tmo pay as you go. Got hung up twice midway through with the 'continue' grayed out. So i tried this URL: https://prepaid.t-mobile.com/home

Paid the $3 and tax and got a new phone number. Was able to complete checkout without a problem. Account number was a random 9 digits and a pin that i created. Tmo activated within 10 minutes. Called sprint to port in and activated within 15 minutes. Removed protection plan through chat. Need to add one more phone and then i will keep other account with one phone and the hotspot open til it ends in July.

all three reps that I talked to had foreign accents. I'm not sure if it was related to the location of the csr.

They all followed the process correctly until to the very end. only difference was they didn't do the credit check on the second and third call. I think they are getting commission for the extras which is fine or need to hit a sales quota on the sprint complete sales. If they told me they had to add the Sprint complete, I wouldn't push back on that. But asking my opinion and not liking it was kind of weird. This hurts Sprint more than me though. I wasted some time but Sprint paid almost 2 hr worth of wage to get a free service activated. There is nothing to complain much for a free service.

just a quick note on the account number for the t mobile prepaid. I called the prepaid customer service instead of online due to some earlier reports about the failed activations. so it was just a quick 10 minute call but I realized two different things

- they have to create the account with a temp phone number first then the csr called back for payment and port in

- the account number was random. it was not 1 + phone number (neither the temp number nor the port in number)

regardless doing online or on the phone make sure ask/note the account number assigned.
