Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Comintel, you seem to be the resident expert on this topic, can you help ? I've read entire Wiki, I'm still not sure.

I'm on the Sprint BYOD for past 11 months, and I want to go to TM store to port into TM, any idea how much they will charge for physical SIM ?

What info to give TM store, is it only Sprint phone number I want to port out to TM, account number, etc ?
Stores charge anywhere between $10-$25 for the Sim kit. All you need to give them is your spring account number and PIN to Port into TMobile.

Can I put Sprint autopay under MY OWN CREDIT/DEBIT CARD when the new Sprint account is under my RELATIVE'S NAME/SSN?
Yes it doesn't matter who makes the payment as long as your auto pay is on

Yes, I called the correct number. Perhaps I made the mistake of calling on a Sunday afternoon and got stuck with the F team, but this is completely absurd at this point.
With the pending 4/4 end date approaching, the next 4 days are gonna be chaos, just plain chaos with porting issues and signing up...we already have seen t-mobile online porting issues for a week because they do not care ,but then the phone reps get the business, so I don't know how that helps t-mobile. Maybe online site just overwhelmed, no more, no less.

Yes that is proper as long as the credit card company approves it.

There would be lots of cases where person A would pay for person B's account, or use a maiden name, etc..

I would set it up yourself though, not through the rep.

So if I have 2 lines on the Sprint account number, all the lines would be ported out of Sprint into TM SIMS, or I would have tell them each separate Sprint phone number to port out to 2 TM SIMS ?

Thanks

I have Moto G4, its unlocked phone for both GSM / CDBA and working perfectly fine for last 1 year on BYOD plan.

I just want to renew for 1 more year on Sprint, and since eSIM doesn't seem to be working on TM online, I need to go to TM store, buy SIM kit and have them port-in from Sprint. I just want to know what info to give at TM store, is it my Sprint phone number, account number, PIN ?

BTW, I can't find the TMobile $3 SIM kit in Walmart, Target or Best Buy, so it seems I have to go to TM store for SIM, I don't know what that costs.

Thanks and any help would be appreciated.
Att prepaid online has free sim deal. I did a mock purchase. You can go with the 25 cent/ min. Port in your number and hopefully after checkout they will email account number and pin. If not you should be able to call them and get it. Other option is to go to an att store to Port your number to the 25 cent/min plan. Sim may or may not be free.

Phone number account number and pin are needed and of course CC info.

no it cant.
remember u must port numbers, sprint will not assign the to u.

2nd as soon as u port out the number with the x, the full amount of x will be due

easiest:
port out ur # to Tm or h20 or ur choice of non sprint carrier.
port back to S with new account in your name.

do same for Jenn.

now u havent revealed what deal is on the x..is in a monthly recurring discount ? if yes, then i cant see any way to accomplish what u need.

if no, then just pay it off and be done

note , no need to get lg v20 involved.

read wiki cause there is lots of information there that u seemed to have missed (like when u say sprint will assign u a number...no they wont...each number has to ported in)
I never ported a number. Not that it's an excuse but in Europe it works differently with sim cards/ like one sim card is tied to the nr.

Ok, so i pay off the iphone x, get 2x google voice nrs, port our current nrs to that, then port back to sprint, is that the gist ?

Or, we can't do it via google voice but only h20 or tmobile ?what if my devices are locked ? i think i can get them unlocked..

Thanks for your reply,

Porting online to ATT prepaid sounds good, but I haven't read here anyone doing this, most are porting into TM. I don't know if online ATT port-in has the same problems as TM with not having physical SIM and not being able to get verification text to retrieve account # and being in limbo with Sprint port-in?

nope not at all.

if u want this deal, u really need to invest the time into reading wiki...not skimming it...but reading it. throughly.

the gist is , u need to be new customer and port in from non sprint

since u r current customer , u need to port out of sprint into something that is non sprint.

so like tmobile, or h20 for example

then port back to s with new person (john)

ur phoens since they are on sprint , will be fine

GV is used only if u dont have a number to port.

again read wiki...carefully

its not that hard, but u need to know what u r doing

right now. it doesnt look like u do

Personally I would do it at an att store. I don't think the Sims cost that much. You could call one and find out.

If you don't have much time I would buy the H20 sims at Best Buy, they are $1 and have a free month unlimited talk text and 6gb data. Once you have the sim you can port everything using h20s website. Stay with H20 for a few days and port into sprint on before April 4th. Target also has this H20 sim cards, choose the yellow ones and not the black and white travel sims.
