Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

If you don't have much time I would buy the H20 sims at Best Buy, they are $1 and have a free month unlimited talk text and 6gb data. Once you have the sim you can port everything using h20s website. Stay with H20 for a few days and port into sprint on before April 4th. Target also has this H20 sim cards, choose the yellow ones and not the black and white travel sims.
Yes. Be sure it's from Target or Best buy. I made the mistake of using an eBay h2o card. I would need to write a book about the difficulty I had trying to Port out from them. Ugh.

Ouch.... I have a bunch of Amazon H20 sims and I didn't use it this time. Will definitely find a use for this sooner or later. When did you try to port? I think because we did not fund it that's why they are giving us a hard time to port out cuz I did port out once with them too.

For the benefit of others, there is usmobile, uses t-mobile and Verizon towers, Amazon has their sim kit for $3.99. With prime you'll get it by April 2nd. They have 2 sim cards per kit, a t-mobile and a Verizon, so basically you can port in and out 2 phone numbers per sim kit. And check their website, they have a free trial. And their chat is pretty good. I asked their chat for my account number and pin after being with them for a couple of hours. Had to tell them I did not have good coverage. They were nice and didn't give me a hard time for my porting info.

When it says "last day for offer is 4/4/19", is that the last day to order or the last day to activate? Reason I ask is this is a perfect deal for me, since my wife and I are coming back from a stint in the UK and both have unlocked iPhones, but won't be on the ground until end of April. Thought of shipping the SIMs (btw, free shipping online now) to my mum's place in L.A. and then picking them up once I get to the U.S.

In past promotions, you had one week after the offer ended to activate sims ordered before orders were cut off.

However you could conceivably activate without having the sim in hand as long as you had its ICCID.

Then there might be another problem of the line being inactive/never used too long after being activated.

What's stopping someone from buying bunch of $1 H20 SIMS and using a new one each month for service (like paying $1/month)? Or porting away to another company and back to H20 each month if H20 requires port-in?

Nobody who calls in is charged a $30 activation fee. The offer says it is waived and it is. You would be wasting the coupon.

The $10 sim shipping fee is also being waived for regular shipping, although it is better to get the sim locally free at most Apple stores, especially with time being a factor.
I was meaning the offset cost if I used CoupCabin's $40 promo through the site vs those costs waived through calling.

If I just complete it through the Sprint website and get charged $30 act + $10 shipping but get $40 back from CoupCabin, it's a wash. Simpler than calling in and not being charged the $40, because I don't like dealing with the often incompetent sales people.

The main thing is I'm not sure if the CC $40 promo works on BYOD transactions. I wouldn't see why not but sometimes they are limited to certain products or service activations (such as 24/mo installment activations only or specific priced plans).

Just a reminder, amidst all this discussion of H2O, that they require you stay on the service for at least 5 days and make 3 phone calls before they'll give you your account number and PIN. It used to be that the account number was just your phone number, but now it is randomly generated. The PIN is still the last 4 digits of your SIM. Somebody earlier in the thread said they got an H2O agent to cough up their account number and PIN just a few hours after activation, but I think this should be considered YMMV. H2O would NOT be my first choice for POPI this close to the edge of the waterfall.

Even if you activate online, the $30 gets credited back anyway within 2 billing cycles (sometimes right away) and the shipping is not currently being charged..

Plus Sprint might ignore the coupon for the free plan. You can try it if you want obviously. Maybe it would be fun to try.

But you'll have to pay the $2.99 for sims if you order online, then wait for them to arrive or else throw them away if you actually go out and get other sims locally (free at most Apple stores for iPhone users)..

For anyone who setup a t-mobile pay-as-you-go to port out, were you able to immediately call sprint and setup a line? Or do you have to wait at all?

Called tmobile and was told you have to wait 24+ hours to access the web account to check account details, but I did confirm the phone number is valid and ready to use...

TIA

looks like they changed the rules. I have activated 8 sim cards till now, and received acct number and pin number for all of them in a day, some of them in hours only. never had a problem getting account number in last 2 weeks.
