Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Right.

If you end up calling to sign up, it is best to for the sake of expediency to lry them add the Sprint Complete insurance that they push hard.

The later on that day Chat (which goes to a different department) to get it removed.
So far two of the Sprint rep I've talked to last night have been nice; The first one was actually says that it's no problem for her to sign me up without SSN, but for some reason the call dropped; I redialed and got a no, I offered to come in and then she said that she could sign me on if I'm verified. Regarding the insurance, the card I'm using to pay for the sim shipping already have cell insurance included, so I'll mention that once before accepting the Complete as you suggested; I believe they get commission on that and not the plan, so if they are nice I won't mind helping them out a bit, then have it removed later!

Exactly. If the account number is not on the receipt it will be in a text that they soon send to your new phone. Foolproof

Yes no argument works with them and a few of them may hang up if you argue too much - they do not care what reason you give.

What I say to them is, they can add it if it is better for them, but that I will probably cancel it later. They are absolutely happy with that and even reassure that it is absolutely fine if I cancel it later They have been told that is ok for them to accept and still get a high score for their handling of the call.

It only takes a minute to cancel it later via Chat (being sure to get a transcript) so I figure, why not help them out a little.

Please try the IMEI in the eligibility checkers and post back exactly what they say.

Most likely it will be possible to resolve the issue..
All of the IMEI checkers tell me my phone is whitelisted and not blacklisted. Was there a certain checker I should use to get more info?

As they promised that they will keep current plan and rate after merger.
I'll leave that to you but Thanks so much.

All the Sprint reps are "nice". Anything else you've heard is fake news or extremely rare.

Well since they are all positive now, it should be fine now.

I assume this includes the one at https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/br...phone=byod including the phone number you will use.

Just running it through the checkers can clear it of conflicts from the past, or add it in some cases where needed, so let's assume that was the case here.

Therefore you can just call back to the number ending in 8777 and it should be fine this time.

By the way, to expedite things, it is best to take the Sprint Complete insurance if they ask about it and cancel it afterward by Chat.

Agreed - I have actually thought that is one likely reason Sprint wants to end this quietly.

And also a reason for us to get on it now. as they may be likely to make a generous offer at the end, about a year from now, or possibly a one-time offer at the point the merger is approved or some other such point.

I do not think we will need to literally complain to the FCC. Sprint/ New TMobile will want to live up to the spirit of the commitments that were made in any case, even where they believe they do not legally have to do so.

Can anyone report success with T-mobile digital port out with current phone number 4/1 - 4/4? Are you able to get your account number? Please report as we approach the deadline and make possible plans for work around.

I called Sprint to open a line under my wife's name and got stuck with failing two security check questions. Have to wait 60 days to reapply.

I already ported 3 sprint lines to T-Mobile Prepaid and paid $3 each. I also have Boost sim cards that I bought from Best Buy when they had it for $3.

So I just did it online with my mom's SSN and didn't spend a minute with customer service.

Added 3 lines to check out and bought 3 sim cards. [sprint.com]

Activate here with the sim card that I have, no need to wait for delivery [sprint.com]

I need to pay $30 activation fee, but would be refunded in a couple months. No big deal. Much better than wasting a few hours on the phone. At least I don't need to remove the rip-off protection plan that CSR tag on even when I say no.

Third Year!!

Awesome, thanks for the update! So is that the same link you would normally use to activate the sims when they arrive in the mail?

When did you port out to t-mobile? Today or a few days ago?

Reason I ask is people are reporting T-mobile digital port out issues with current phone number. How did you get your t-mobile account number? I am doing the same exactly thing you're doing on 4/4. I am doing 5 lines, already have all sprint physical sim cards and t-mobile digital sims. Been planning this for a month and want to make sure it goes off without a hitch!

Thanks.

Why wait until 4/4? If you do it today, you should still get the same 4/30/2020 expiration if I am not mistaken.
