Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I'm redoing 6 lines total (Sprint -> T-Mobile -> Sprint) with 3 on one sprint account and 3 on another. Only 2 of the 6 completed to T-Mobile so I finished the process back to Sprint with those. It has been 24 hours since I began the ports to T-Mobile prepaid and I plan on calling them when I'm home from work in a few hours if they still are not finished. I plan on calling the same T-Mobile number and asking specifically for the port department. Let me know if yours go through!

Still not ported to tmobile yet. I plan to call tonight and via fb chat.
FYI for those looking at the thread for the T-Mobile digital sim issue. 2 out of my 6 went through without a hitch. I messed up on my account number for one of my sprint accounts, and 3 out of my 6 that failed to go to T-Mobile are because of that. My ports are now going through on those. I have one last number out of 6 that I still need to inquire about, but I am guessing it is a similar problem (typo) either on my end or their end.

The two that completed without a hitch WERE in fact 1 + phone number. When I talked to the porting department, they confirmed 1 + phone number is the account number. I have not actually needed the SIM card after all thus far. Good luck this week everyone!

Tried to do POPI using Mint Dual Sim Starter kit and failed hard. Apparently those are for new numbers only. To port in, they want a minimum of 3 months @$15 or $45. Yeah right. Guess next I'll try one of the H2O 6GB trial SIMS and hope they'll let me go before 5 days. Next option after that will be Numberbarn. Next option after that will be AT&T in-store. Next option after that will be Tmo in-store. I'll go the Tmo digital SIM route as a last resort given their recent congestion-related issues.

No they're just offering you paid plans.
But your number is not eligible. It must be a Sprint number?
I've three lines w/ Sprint and I ported out one of my lines to t-mobile last week.
The number I ported out to T-mobile is active and I can call & receive phone calls.

FWIW and not sure if it's been mentioned above but I used chat to port in a line to existing account last night after Sprint office was closed. She waived my $30 activation fee also (maybe because I accepted the Sprint Complete addon). Have all your info ready typed in on a page so you can copy/paste the numbers as agent asks for them and you'll be done in 10 mins. So much easier than calling in.

That is not supposed to work.

Check the MySprint app on the phone to see what plan it ended up on.

It definitely worked and the only reason I knew to try chat is because the after hours Sprint message said "if you're calling about the Sprint one year free promotion go to www.sprint.com/oneyearfree and use chat -- available 24 hrs." So maybe they're a little overwhelmed right now and allowing chat to ease the congestion.

Agreed - I have actually thought that is one likely reason Sprint wants to end this quietly.

And also a reason for us to get on it now. as they may be likely to make a generous offer at the end, about a year from now, or possibly a one-time offer at the point the merger is approved or some other such point.

I do not think we will need to literally complain to the FCC. Sprint/ New TMobile will want to live up to the spirit of the commitments that were made in any case, even where they believe they do not legally have to do so.
Your idea and assumptions are reasonable and well thought out as usual comintel. Hope your right!

H2O free trial monthly plan ended today, 6GB now $30. The cheapest would be $10 pay as go at H2O.
Edit ymmv. The free trial doesn't show on website but someone in H2O SD thread got it today by calling in.

It's a start but it is supposed to have been ported away, is it not?

If I am understanding correctly you will have to contact support and ask them to free it up since the port out completed...

So the one you used your 1+ phone number as account number and not the assigned tmobile account number works?

I ported using tmobile account number. Could this be my issue? How did you fix the one that didn't go thru?
