Do you know that for a fact? I mean that we can add additional lines to approved account after today?
To be clear. No one knows anything. No one knows at this offer is going to end today. No one knows if the offer ends today whether or not we can add more lines after today. Again just to summarize no one knows anything. We will know more in a few hours

ordered sim card online but it will come tomorrow, the checkout page said" We'll ship your SIM card(s) overnight so that you can get going as soon as possible. If you ordered by 2 p.m. ET Mon-Fri, you'll get it the next business day.
There's one more step before you get your 1 year of FREE unlimited!
When you get your SIM card(s), go to www.sprint.com/activatenow to activate them, switch your number to Sprint and start enjoying your FREE 1-year of unlimited service.
See you tomorrow at sprint.com/activatenow Your order summary below does not include other charges you will need to pay monthly, such as taxes and fees (including a $1.99/mo./line admin fee)."
Can I still get the 1 year free?
I do have other Sprint sim cards in hand, shoul I call with old cards?
Thanks
I was in the same boat as you and went ahead and called in. After a 20 minute phone call and another 5 minute call to the porting department I was in. For what it's worth the CSR said it was a good thing I called today since the deal ends today. The SIM is due to be delivered tomorrow and she could find no trace of the online order. If you really want this deal I would recommend calling now. It is painless as long as you have read the WIki and have all of the information in hand. Can't say for sure you can't sign up tomorrow but no reason to take the chance.

Thanks! I did not realize it was not for calling from other countries. I will not worry about that then. We don't know anyone overseas. LOL

And, I am hemming and hawing over what to do on that last line..... It has just about been 24 hours since we first ported out from Sprint to TMobile for her number. Several of the TMobile porting reps that I talked to today said that it was currently under dual service and that it would work after 24 hours. I pushed the last rep and asked why 24 hours is the magic number. He said that since the port shows as successful in their system, that the Sprint sim card would automatically deactivate after 24 hours. I am getting ready to check the phone again. We'll see if that was bull, or the truth.....

I did add a burner phone / number to the old sprint account (50 GB hotspot) just so I can keep the hotspot those extra few months.
So, still no go on the port out from Sprint to TMobile. It is so weird. I tried what one rep said and placed the sprint sim in her phone, and the tmobile sim in an extra phone, as he said to do. I can place calls from both phones and they both go through and they both show up as her phone number. One phone shows Sprint service and one shows TMobile. Unfortunately, this still did not seem to help. I have tried power cycling multiple times as well.

I talked to daughter and told her to make choice between possibly losing her phone number (If I was to add a burner phone number to the 5th line on account to at least insure the free line), or to risk losing the free plan, (if we just wait it out and then I can't try adding her line back to Sprint until tomorrow or later).
I did tell her that worst case scenario, I can port her back to Sprint on the old account, that I was able to save with another burner phone number, and she could at least have 4 more months of free service. She is going to take the risk and we will wait until tomorrow.

I've been working on this since 8 AM EST this morning, nonstop. I am going to bed. Peace

As always, THANKS again to everyone for all the help in working all of this out. I am very grateful!

True we will see when we see. But the Sprint rep did tell me this was last day to signup for this offer. Not sure why she would make that up. But of course Sprint could anounce some extension, or another free/discounted plan so officially this current plan is last day but another takes it's place. Still, I would not chance it, if possible signup today.

Just tried ordering this plan online and after I filled out my contact details and agreed to run my credit check I got an message stating they can't complete my request online and to call in.
The hold time is ridiculous. I'm guessing I'm screwed

You are already on a postpaid plan. It's just that it's free. Sprint doesn't do prorated billing for their plans. If you port out a day late, you get hit for the full $60. So port out sooner, rather than later.
Bummer, but thanks for the info. The user's phone is out of the country, and they return on the day that the new plan takes effect. Looks like I will be stuck with an additional month on Sprint and a $60+tax bill.

Do you know if it is possible to downgrade plans instead of the $60 unlimited into something else? I could downgrade to a cheaper plan and keep that for a month until I figure out where to port to (probably Mint).

Do you think they will let you change your number by porting in to an existing line at least? Is this the case with the $15 kickstarter plan?

The new plan price won't start until after the end of bill cycle. If your bill cycle ends on May 10(insert your bill cycle end date) then as long as port out by may 10(your bill cycle end date) you won't be charged full price.
Also you dont really need the phone as porting is for phone number not the phone. I guess they would be without service though so that is a problem.

I spoke to the customer care to get my account number from Lyca. Only thing is they will send only via text and will not share it in the call. Try calling their helpline number.

well looks like TMobile isn't allowing me to use the same digital sim card again Frown. Has anyone been able to use the same digital sim card an hour or so after T Mobile ported it out.

Trying to port my number from google fi the process was got stuck and they can not release my device because they have to wait porting. Called several times but they can not do anything. Should have ported to TMO first which should be much easier. Now just have to wait and see if the offer still good tomorrow lol.

I ended up getting two numbers ported over to free Sprint plan - thanks to those here who assisted. Debating whether to try a 3rd phone - kind of down to the wire - and I would have to do the fi to t-mobile to Sprint thing. Which lately has had issues going to t-mobile.

The other thing, traveling overseas recently, me having Sprint and my wife having google fi proved very handy, because she had the much better data access which we needed several times on the go. There is something to be said for having two different plans when travelling because all eggs are not in one basket, and we have several more overseas trips coming up soon. Decisions ...

Same thing I was told. All lines need to be activated by today as today is last day!
Just a few more minutes left .. the tension is killing me .. lol
