No the plan has ended
That's almost like saying your contract has ended, but service still goes on until the end of this months billing cycle.

I see it like this. My SIM card, although it will arrive today, has an order# that begins with "OY", which (maybe i'm mistaken) but could stand for an order placed for the free "one year".
When we I get the SIM card this afternoon, i'll have to visit sprint.com/byod to "finish activation", which to me (again, i might be mistaken) means the 1yr free activation has already been started by me in their system on 4/3, and i'm just finishing the activation at home. Only time will tell for me, as I'll try this later after work.

I was fortunate to have bought 2 of them online before they sold out in a few minutes! Even though it's been many years, I still remember the excitement and buzz that deal brought!

As far as this deal, the biggest surprise for me was not how long this deal lasted but: 1) Why more people didn't take advantage of this deal in general 2) Why anyone, especially those with multiple lines, had regular Sprint plans and paying $100+ instead of being on this deal. You figure with with social media, word of mouth, and internet buzz, most would have heard about this.
But some people actually still either didn't hear about it or if they did blew it off. I was just chatting with a fella in person yesterday who has been with Sprint a few years and never heard of this plan.

Exactly I told a coworker about it a couple of days ago and he was floored.

I've been telling my friends for a while about it and most of them said no because of Sprint's poor signal quality...laugh out loud

I just take risk to use Tmobile web site to do online porting by using esim purchased from Ebay. 20 minutes have passed and I have not received any emails from Tmobile and phone still is with Sprint.

I also try to search order status on Tmobile by using order confirmation No but it says it is not valid order No. Strange...

Do I have to wait 2 hours to see what is going on? or I have to purchase physical SIM card to start over again? Thanks.
I did the sprint to tmobile port last week. It was struck (over 48 hrs) but I was able to resolve it via facebook chat on tmobile fb page. Not sure if Tmobile fb team will assist you since this is less than 48 hours. Since this deal might be ending I will suggest trying.
Porting Tmoible back to sprint took less than 20mins.

Can lines still be added on accounts created on or before 4/4? Has anyone tried adding them today?

Well since the deal has ended finally, this thing could now be tested. I will try calling them to see if they would allow adding a line with BYOD plan
I just called telesales and added my daughter's iphone 7, so you can still add lines to an existing account. The rep said that phones may be added at any time (YMMV).

I was trying to do this last week as we were all together in one place. But I couldn't as I didn't have my NEW phone with me at the time to get the stupid two-factor authentication text. I don't understand why that is really needed. Not like I have $1M in my sprint account. So now we will see if the activation worked and if the iphone 7 works (it was a VM phone originally so it should) when she wakes up three times zones away from here.

This deal was like a longest running multi-season show which engaged the audience so much.. lots of characters lots of tense moments and some of laughter too... and now it is over! All over..
Well like they say All Good Things Must Come to An End!
Its great we got one/two/three years of free phone service and we made some friends along the way as well.

Yep plus I just signed up 2 days ago with my daughters Verizon iPhone 5S that I bought locally for $55. Now I may actually port 3 of my other T-mobile lines to get this deal still. Then I'll just change mine & wife's plan's on T-Mobile to something else to save money.

Hard to argue with free, but some people are set in their ways. I tell people about stuff, and it gets ignored. Then months or years later, they 'discover' stuff and spout off about how good a deal they found Smilie

I think people like to discover stuff, not so much taking tips from others.
