I told Sprint that it was previously active on Boost, but I understood that it had been used for over 6 months and was cleared for Sprint. Her response was that they needed to "re-brand" it for use on Sprint, then add it to the database. Nothing in my previous chat with technical support a week ago or the private messages with the Sprint Social Care S.M.A.R.T. Agent today indicated that the fact it was a used Boost phone would be a problem. I guess we will see what happens. I already have my Apple Trade-In box ordered, so if it doesn't work I will get my $270 back as an Apple credit.
Probably wouldn't work in my situation as I just bought the iphone new from Boost last month.

Yes, agreed. Mine was definitely active on Boost, just unclear for how long. It looks great and has 92% battery, so fingers crossed that it will work.

Have always had this question, how would Sprint calculate if account/contract says this promotional price valid until end of a month, say May, but the billing cycle starts around 15th of each month. Would it really be valid until halfway of a billing cycle and then they prorate the other half with the regular $60 price?

I normally play safe and port out before next billing cycle kicks in, but just want to see if anyone has experience staying until the last couple of days.

It depends whether you are trying to match the low price, or the high-end data.

There is nothing that matches both,

You get radically different alternatives, almost opposite ends of the low-priced market, depending on which of those is more important to you.

So if you can be more specific as to your usage patterns and what you are looking for, it will be easier to make suggestions.
If I only use less than 100min + 100 text + 1GB a month, what would be your recommendation? I'm thinking about Mint but wondering if there is a cheaper option. TiA

Yes I would say check out Unreal Mobile for $10 a month or FreedomPop 1 Yr plan for $49.99 a year although I do believe with both companies you need to use there Crap VoIP App for calls/texts. Although you can just simply use GV Hangouts too.

Also check out Redpocket Mobile on the E Bay. Beeast mobile is also offering some deals & they use either Att or Sprint network. T-MOBILE will also give you a SCNA MI line with 2 gb of data with unlimited text plus music freedom for $10 a month plus you get T-mobile Tuesday Goodies. Unfortunately you would need to use GV Hangouts for VoIP calls.

There is also Freeup Mobile which gives you totally free 1000 min/text per month on Att Network. Lastly Xfinity mobile gives you unlimited talk, text & 1 GB of data for $12 per month plus $3-5 in taxes/fees but you also get unlimited hotspot Wi-Fi data for Free. To see reviews and compare prices/service check out www.bestmvno.com Tia Ron ☺️ PS sorry for long rant!!

Some lowest-cost ones have been mentioned.

Among high-reputation high-support providers for that usage pattern, I would consider Mint, Tello, and RedPocket EBay plans http://www.urlhasbeenblocked.com/...cket-Store

Thanks guys! Appreciate the help. I have both FP free and Tello Pay-as-you-go atm. Tello is good in our area but FP is terrible. I'll check out the others you guys mentioned

So looks like I missed the boat to get a 2nd year free.
Got an email that says my last day is 5/31/2019 for the free BYOD plan then it'll switch to a higher priced plan.

What's the best way to go about this?
Can I switch directly to the sprint kickstart $25 per line kickstart plan? Or do I have to port out and port back?

Thanks.
