You cannot get another free year. If you read the last few days of posts you will see that Sprint will make retention offers if you Port out.
Or you can call them 877-628-8191, posted by comintel just above.

This looks good as a temp solution if your phone is compatible.

Thanks for summarizing.

Just to clarify, you can only call Recovery at 877-628-8191 (or whatever is the current number shown at https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...print.html) after the numbers have already left Sprint (or are in the process of being ported out or cancelled). That number is for Recovery offers only. Recovery, as the Recovery rep explained to me, means getting numbers back to Sprint that have already left Sprint (or are scheduled to leave). Recovery cannot discuss any numbers that are still active on Sprint and not already scheduled to leave..

If the numbers are still on Sprint and have not been scheduled for cancellation or port out yet, people need to call Retentions instead at 844-382-3317 for any offers, but usually the offers will not be as good. You might get lucky though.

Even if I have 4 lines, $250 is the max per an account?
So the best method is to have two separate $25/Kickstart accounts with two lines on each? $500 for both accounts?
I was originally going to do the $100/mo Unlimited Basic for 5 lines because it allows for Sprint flex lease.
I took 4 out of 5 lines and got offer Basic unlimited for $160 for 5 lines with $1000.00 bill credit spread out for the next six months.I did not bite yet.

And in fact that is their standard recovery offer of $250 per line service credits for 2 or more lines ($100 for one line).

https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...print.html

You may be able to ask them to apply the $250 a line credit to a different plan though.

$1000 over 6 months is $166.67/month. So basically almost free for 6 months? Did you have to sign up at that $160/5 lines for 12 months?

Wouldn't that still mean you're still on Sprint? I think Ting is a Sprint MVNO.

Reg. Basic= 5 lines=$160x12=1920-1000=$76.66 @month. There's a promotion 5 lines for $100 , after 06-30-20 back to $160 and I want this plan with $1000. credit but no go.

It does say you cannot combine offers.

They told me kickstart was ok but I am not sure I could recommend it because it is de-prioritized even without much data use (data can pause) and also it has no hotspot.

I added over the phone. Waived $30 activation fee. I let them put insurance on, and as soon as the phone line appeared in my Sprint account, I went to chat to have insurance removed and had a copy of the chat emailed to me.
Thank you for the answer. Plan to add a line in a month.

So they forced you into signing with them for 12 months? No discount on the 5 lines for $100/month deal?

They do not have one-year commitments as such,

....... Accounts that cancel lines within 30 days of activating on promo pricing may void savings. ........
HOWEVER, it is true that once your service credit of $250 per line runs out (assuming two or more lines), you would go back to the standard rate for whatever (non-promotional) base plan you chose, and you cannot switch to another promotion without porting out again. So in that sense, yes, you would be stuck with the higher rate permanently (until you ported out again). That is the whole idea of all these promotions (including the Free plan) - to lock you in after they run out (unless you are smart enough to port out promptly when they run out).

They're also not going to allow you to set your base plan (before the credit is applied) to be some other temporary special offer.

HI,

I am interested in canceling my wife's BYOD account before the end of the month, when the free BYOD runs out. I have a Sprint branded Samsung S3 that has no SIM. To whom can I port out so I can cancel her account without her having to go through the trouble of speaking to Sprint. They won't let me do it over chat. Any ideas?

Thanks!

You can kill a line by porting out to literally ANY other service provider. If you don't care about continuing cellular service, you can port out to Sideline [sideline.com] for free. Your S3 is strictly CDMA, so if you need continued service your options are Boost, Virgin, Twigby, Tello, and Ting. Oh, and RedPocket I guess.
