I will need to cancel my Sprint service by tomorrow as my free plan will be ending. I don't care about the number.
Is there any other provider having port in offer that people are utilizing?
Like earlier MetroPCS offers..

Edit: my plan says

May 16 — Jun 15
15 days left

So looks like I'll get Sprint free until June 15 and not May 31st

Well exactly, but I usually suggest people call Retentions / Account Services at 844-382-3317 just to ensure that our expectations and your expectations are correct and that the account gets noted for cancellation ahead of time for June 15 so that you did not get billed for yet another month by then.

I would suggest call only Retentions (not Chat, not another department) because Retentions / Account Services is the only department authorized to deal with account cancellations and give official quotes.

I tried to port my last line to Xfinity Mobile before June 1 deadline. But, XM agent claimed that port-in system was down for the last few days. Is it a BS, or someone else also experiencing XM port-in issue?

I ended up just calling in because all the port-out options either cost too much or wouldn't port before the 31st. It was an annoying phone call but they said that it's cancelled.

I removed my credit card and took off auto pay. I then chatted with sprint to ask when the account is to be disconnected and they said June 6. Hopefully I'm done with this account and there's no hidden fee but for me then it was a great 2 years.

For those that don't care about their phone # and need to port out, you can port out to Sideline for free. First sign up for an account under their 7 day free trial. Then port in number. Free to port in. You can cancel during the 7 day free trial if you don't want to pay Sideline for an account.

I ported out from sprint to tello with plan to avail recovery credit. Now I read that it is not easy to port back from Tell to Sprint as it is already a sprint network. Has anybody done it without going to a different network? Steps?
I'm not 100% sure you'd even be eligible for the offer now even if you transfer to another carrier, because Sprint records will show you transferred out to a Sprint partner. and that may not count as a port out (in fact it really is not).

If you get an email asking you to come back to Sprint, though, or a postcard with that message, that would be a good sign.

You can call them and ask at the number shown at https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...print.html They're very friendly

Wow, that was a pain to cancel 4 lines. I had to talk to 2 reps then my first attempt got disconnected.

I had to call again and explain why I wanted to cancel. And they're trying to convince me they are the cheapest carrier.

I said only way I continue is if I pay $15 per month for 4 lines.

Thanks. Confirmed I cannot transfer back from tello. I am feeling fool. Anyway what is the cheapest way to transfer to somewhere else so I can transfer back to sprint. Sprint is working great for me for coverage and I think kick start will still be best option.

I cannot guarantee that Sprint will accept it at this point for this offer, after having been on Tello even briefly, even if it is transferred to another carrier, but I think there is at least a good chance, and it is worth a try. (Sprint has a policy of not trying to take customers away from its MVNO's, but hopefully it will not apply once the phone is off Tello).

Desi suggested Number Barn:
https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=127880386&postcount=40525
and quite a few people have used them.

Guys. How long does it take to port from Sprint to Red Pocket? I ported out yesterday but haven't received any email from Red pocket yet. I used the same Sprint SIM card. TiA

You need the compatible sprint sim for the xs, just ask them at the Apple store for it.
See Note 3 in the wikipost for swapping details.
