Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

All who persisted were successful.

It does not add a full year.

As the Wiki states: "They will have the same end date as the 1st line. Port-in is still required. "

No the new line is not for a full year. Only through 9/30 in your case.
As the Wiki states: "They (added lines) will have the same end date as the 1st line. Port-in is still required. "
That is the way it has been from the start 2 years ago.

Hello
I'm not sure why.
My S10 is unlock version purchased from Samsung directly.

After trying for numerous hours on both devices (S10 and Z2)
I just thought of trying the Motorola airplane mode trick... And it worked Smilie
Thats great.

Mine is sprint s10+, which was unlocked by sprint. For me PDA Net never worked for tethering on BYOD plan. This dun hack works perfectly.

P.S. I didn't call sprint for my MSL. I tried putting in 000000 and it worked. To others who would like to try the DUN method, first try putting the MSL as 6 0's, if it doesn't work then only waste your time with sprint support to get the MSL.

It is always 000000 for every post I have ever seen on Samsung S8, S9, S10, Note 8, et etc.

You do need it to add a new APN.

PDANet works perfectly for me on every Android I ever tried it on (probably a dozen). It has some limitations - not good for iPads etc.

I tried PDA net on both note 9 and s10. My mac connects to the phones network. But dont get any internet. Besides the password changes every time you start the app (limitation as per them for newer Samsung phones). The DUN method is best as it allows you to save the network on your computer without having to reenter password everytime

You do not have to enter the password at all on PC's / Windows Laptops or Androids. Just press the WPS button.

For Apple products, I agree it is unusable for those because the password keeps changing. This is a Wifi Direct "feature"

I do agree that the DUN method is very nice for those who can make it work and who like the Android hotspot.

My free year promotion expires end of July, looking for options on how to get the below features:
  • 300+ min
  • unlimited texts,
  • 3GB+ data domestically
  • data roaming in Canada (current Sprint plan let me get unlimited data in Canada for $2/day which has been amazing)

Any plan out there that comes close to meeting the above requirements for under $30/month? Have an unlocked Pixel device so compatibility should not be an issue

Sprint Unlimited KickStart for $25 a month (unlimited data - same as this plan). There is nothing else even remotely approaching this if you want unlimited data. And you can keep the plan for years at that rate.

The KickStart plans may be updated in July to add hotspot to KickStart.(possibly 500 MB free or 50 GB for $10 extra according to test ads).

I know it says in the wiki that device upgrades with this plan can only be made after 120 days, but wondering if anyone has had luck keeping the plan and doing an upgrade before the 120 days?

What do you mean by upgrade?

What Sprint is referring to is buying a phone from them over time under a special offer. This is a bad idea anyway in most cases, because you have to stay on the plan for 18 months including after it goes to $70 a month after the free year. No way out. They will not let you switch plans to KickStart at the end of the free period because that is their whole idea - to make money by locking you in via upgrades.

If you just want to swap to a phone you buy on your own elsewhere that is not part of a Sprint promotion directly or indirectly, do that at any time via Chat (or on the dashboard which people mess up). No 120 days requirement is involved in that case.

This is supposed to be clear from the Wiki.

Do NOT go by what sales reps say on this as they misunderstand and mislead routinely.

wishfully asking if anyone has any idea how long the winback/comeback offers are good for? Say, would it still be there in 2-3 months? I know nobody has a crystal ball or know what would happen after tmo merger, but for those who left in March or April and got a winback/comeback email, have you guys tried asking if you can still get the offer in May or June?

2nd question, winback offer (100-$30activation) can be applied to both Kickstart(if they let me) and not just for regular $60 plan? Thanks.

(I just ported main line to xfinity few weeks ago, my mistake, need to wait few months to get rebate. kickstart would be better for me than xfinity).

The rep told me "you can always call later if you change your mind and do decide to take up this offer." I did not ask exactly how long but I got the impression it would be for quite a while..

You can call the number at https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...print.html and ask.
