Yup already did. 30 dollars charge ... 5 discount with autopay ... Then of course taxes and fees of 5.xx ...

So I guess no benefit of porting out and come back in. Abs this one has unlimited text and data when outside the country as well. Not sure if Kickstarter has it. I was away a few times and loved having the roaming for free

and this is a single line so it's not like I'm benefiting from family plans or anything
I know this was already been discuss multiple times but would you mind telling us in details on what you exactly did, like make a step by step instruction.

It is possible that this is a new name for KickStart.

Can you see how much HotSpot you have (if any)? It shows under Data Usage. For example, if it says Hotspot usage: 3 MB out of 500 MB that would mean you have 500 MB Hotspot. If it is zero or a low value then this appears to be a new name for KickStart, but that is great that people are now apparently converting to it in at least some cases when coming off the Free plan.

(Kickstart does have Global Roaming but no Hotspot).
It says Hotspot is 50Gb limit...

Wow. I have no idea why that could be the case unless it us a marketing test or a mistake.

Unlimited Basic is $70 a month and includes only a 500 MB Hotspot.
https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/pl...-plan.html

I have trouble seeing that this plan could be priced at $30.

It is likely to be a mistake in my opinion but it is a tough call whether to do anything about it or just let sleeping dogs lie and hope you can keep it or that you can get clarification one way or another.

Perhaps others will have some wisdom on this or of course you can make your own decision or wait to do so. If you do decide you want clarification you can call Retentions at 844-382-3317 but of course there could be risk they would take it away.

I never use the hotspot anyhow, sometimes I use it for the tablet if I'm outside the house when flying the drone but that's it. Today I chatted with a rep and they said my plan was the unlimited and I could even add lines at same pricing. I was now billed a couple times and it's always 30$ with taxes.

I didn't even know a carrier Corie limit the hotspot from your phone. my phone is unlocked I don't see how could a carrier limit sharing the wifi ?

They do limit sharing LTE from the phone over Wifi.

I would not count on the Chat reps being right (they guess a lot) but if you got a transcript then it would protect you to some degree.

If you really want authority you would have to call Retentions at the number I gave.

I asked an extremely well-connected Sprint spokesperson on another forum and he says there is no such plan at that price to his knowledge. .

I talked to sprint customer care and they converted my lines to kickstart automatically. That $30 plan mentioned above is a beter.

no doubt.
especially since it includes taxes.
so is a $30 plan and then a $5 auto pay discount.

i could be wrong, but i thought the other comparable price plans were
$35 and then the $5 AP discount

There was at least another person that got the $25 unlimited plan in an email offer last October. I didn't dig much deeper.

Oh you're right! That's what it is. I was so preoccupied by the newer offers that I forgot that one.

Well, that's why I said to wait for wisdom from others (in this case edog11).

So, salvadorveiga, I agree you're fine. What you have is WAY better than KickStart because it includes Hotspot!

That was the offer that continued "everything you already have." Let me guess that you already had hotspot on your free plan (and were probably among the very last to have it), So it carried over. It has been so long since most people had hotspot that I forgot that people whose timing was just right and who kept the free plan to the last possible time after a full free year could still have had it now at the point the conversion took place.

I do recall that at most one or two other more recent posters got the "everything you had on the free plan" offer.

Has anyone gotten the $250/line recovery credit for multiple lines by returning to the Unlimited Basic plan, or does the offer only apply to the Unlimited Plus and Premium plans?

Hopefully someone will reply from personal experience as you requested but meanwhile I do not see any reason you would not be able to use that plan now that is a standard plan.

The credits only get dribbled out over a long time, though, so overall usually it may not actually make sense compared to KickStart unless you have say 4 or 5 lines.

They are happy to go over all options at the number shown at https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...rint.html? once you cancel or port out.

So regarding call back offers: if we have 2 lines, and I port out the other person's lines, when Sprint calls to try to get back the line, will they call the line that ported out or the line still on Sprint>

I just want to make sure I am the one to pick up since the other line does not really follow up on this type of stuff.

I have 4 lines. If I could get $250/line recovery credit for 4 lines on Unlimited Basic, it would be worth pursuing. If not, I may look elsewhere as kickstart is not as competitive when looking for 4 lines.
