I highly doubt they are lost yet. Try calling Recovery at the number shown at https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...print.html and ask them if they can recover them and put them on KickStart.

Unfortunately we just missed closing time for today but tomorrow should be ok too.

I would suggest call them and not some other department. They have incentive to get them back. Other departments do not, and moreover have no place to put them if they do get them back..

A suggestion I have for other people is never accept any arrangement which involves someone else calling you back. It creates too much ambiguity when they fail to do so. Also any sort of conditional cancellation will not work to qualify for Recovery offers, regardless of what Retentions suggests.
Thanks for your helpful comment/suggestion. I may have further messed up my situation yesterday because when I spoke yesterday to sprint(not the recovery number) trying to figure out what happened on my account they said those numbers are now lost. So, to avoid not having any cell service, I went ahead and got my phones linked up with kick start but I had to have sprint generate a new number for each line.
So now I have lost my leverage for a call to recovery since I am back on Sprint. I keep making the wrong at every step. I'll still call recovery and make a plea that it was a Sprint cancellation error that led to my numbers being lost.

I do not think you lost your leverage necessarily. Yeah I would call them and see if *they* say they are unrecoverable or not.

The offer would still be open if they are recoverable because it is based on numbers, not phones, but there would be various ways to perhaps bring them back together.

I think I would just explain the whole situation.

Now, if they too say they are unrecoverable, and the numbers are important to you, personally I would explore still other approaches within Sprint.

For example, this post seems to suggest you may be able to recover such a number:

https://community.sprint.com/t5/A...d-p/350139

Or maybe contact [email protected] Sprint VP Marci Carris and see if she can help from Executive Resolutions..

This plan has no hotspot allowance at all.

The same is true for KickStart but that may change soon.

Early signers to this plan had hotpot for their first year but that has now expired or is about to do so.

Tello has hotspot on all plans including PAYG..

Don't forget to register for $100 deposited into your credit union account.

https://www.lovemycreditunion.org...ashrewards

Might or might not work, but the $200 prepaid card from Sprint worked for me on the free plan, so I'm giving this a try too.

Yesterday I set a future cancellation date through chat, and it was extremely difficult to do (many tries, many hours). Today I went to Winback website and did chat and converted all my lines to kickstart, and even that took 2 tries (first try told me nothing available even though rep saw scheduled cancellations).

I can already see the changes in the website account, and the weird thing is the website account shows some of the lines immediately changed to kickstart now while the other lines are still on free plan and scheduled to change to kickstart next month. One of the lines scheduled to change next month I will be closing immediately, because I don't want to take any chances with the free plan ending 7/31 (though probably stays free until next month bill cycle date).

Next month I will report what the bill shows.

So for those that stayed with Sprint, did they charge the for the entire month or did they proportion a few days on the free plan and the remaining days at full amount?

Or free for the entire month? (which is actually what we think). But it depends on whether you are talking about calendar month or plan month......there is room for endless confusion unfortunately.....

Billing month was my question. My billing period is June 26 through July 25th and my free plan ends July 31. Will it be free for me from July 26th through August 26th even through my "Free" plan ends on July 31?

or

Will it be free from July 26 through July 31 and then a proportion of the full service charge?

or

Will it be the full service charge effective July 26?

Nicely posed question and I look forward to any responses. (As far as I know, we still believe the answer is that it is free to August 26, and people have confirmed that in the past, but recently most people, including reps, have not wanted to take the risk of trying or promising that),

Also it would be useful for someone to ask at https://community.sprint.com/t5/M...ct-p/plans to get a more formal clarification, since there has been confusion.

I ported my dad's free line out to a tmobile sim on Saturday afternoon and the imei still shows as "sprint active". Does the tmobile port take longer now? It's been about 36 hours. I didn't put in their sim but just need to port him out to port him back in on one of my free lines until it expires.

Also for those asking when the charges begin/began, his free plan ended May 31, and that $65 charge was for 6/17-7/16, the first day of his billing date.

So that means from 5/17-6/16, he was still being charged for the free plan despite the free plan ending on 5/31. That's great news, some extra time to use the free plan!

Right and that is exactly what edog11 and others have said from the beginning, but it is indeed helpful to get it confirmed again one more time.

How long does it take for them to call to offer some deal after ported out to Red Pocket? And what kind of deal I'm expecting if any for only 1 line?
