So, you're saying I can leave 3 lines on BYOD (I realized I have 4 in total, not 3, forgot about the mother in law...), port the other one out, then port it back in as Kickstart without any problems?......
...
Yes you can do that.

Some offers require a new customer. KickStart is not one of them. It requires only a new line.

Does anyone know when the current Kickstart enrollment period will end?

Also, does anyone know how long the promotional pricing on the unlimited plans would last? Having 5 lines for $100 seems good...unless it goes up to $200 after a year... I've asked Sprint, but they've given me conflicting answers. I don't see an send date mentioned on the website.

Reps on Reddit say they do not know even internally when Kickstart enrolment will end.

Remember few had any idea that Free Plan would end April 4 (except we did here through a SlickDeals marketing contact with Sprint.

However I personally do not see it ending for a long time. It may come and go though.

Re 5 for $100, edog11 checked and found that the 5 for $100 offer ends 9/30/2020 (see https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=129565198&postcount=41231 ).

So KickStart is better then from that point of view.

The way I always post it is:
The number shown at https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...print.html

That should always give you the best number for Recovery. Is the number you posted what is shown there for you? It is not for me.

Oh you're right - it is there. I missed it. My stupid ad-blocker was taking it out.

Well that answers that.

Nobody has posted being able to negotiate that but some people have randomly got automated offers for a new version of Kickstart that does include 500 MB hotspot (and higher cost versions of Kickstart with 50 GB). So it is probably coming.

They have different strengths.
Kickstart has unlimited data. Mint has a tiny amount in comparison.
I would go for Kickstart in a heartbeat but I can get hotspot on it by my own ways.

5. I thought people here were saying to call Sprint and ask them to set your account to terminate on your account's last BYOD day. I called, and they claimed they "don't have the ability to set an account to terminate in the future." I thought maybe it was because I was too close to the termination date, but they said that makes no difference and they can't do it for anyone. Did I misunderstand something?

Thank you for your help everyone!
What number / department did you call to cancel. I had to do it twice. Call the retentions number. Don't speak to general sales. Tell them nothing more than you need to cancel you service at the end of your current billing cycle which is 8/20. Ask them to please do this so you have a chance to port out to a different provider between now and then

Don't discuss anything else - just be firm and tell them to set up the cancellation
