Agreed that is also true. The person will have likely have another part month beyond that to end of billing cycle. That will be the next step but I think they need to look first at the formal end date to be familiar with that.

Actually you can still port out because you primarily port a number, not a phone. It may not work on TMobile, that's all, but you may not care if you are just going to port it back again,
So would going with a $40 plan be my best bet?

I doubt it. See posts from others.

Also, it is highly unlikely anything has changed from the day before.
If you could do it yesterday for the $3 plan, probably you can again by calling a few times.

People have always got inconsistent responses calling TMobile prepaid. Try calling at different times of day.

Also when does your billing cycle end? That is the real deadline/ target date.

Buy $.99 TracFone sim kit at target, best buy. and activate $15 smart phone plan online(or call). Scroll thru the choices, a $9.99 pay as you go plan may be offered. It took one hour for port to TracFone to complete. I had previously set up TracFone online account.

My billing cycle ended 8/1/19. Seems like my new billing cycle is set up from 8/2 to 9/1. It appears as if my plan was converted to $60 for 1st line, and $30 for each additional line. My next bill of $195 is scheduled for the 25th according to my online bill.

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep trying to see if I can get the $3 pay as you go plan with T-Mobile to port back to Sprint free plan for another 6 months.

Thanks!

That is a very unfortunate end date but them's the breaks.

At least nothing will get any worse for a few weeks.

You MIGHT be able to get the money back by invoking Sprint's 30 day satisfaction guarantee re the paid plan.

Obviously first you need to port out though.

Also see suggestion by PaulP4448.

Maybe some sales person did it for you, I do not know.

By the way it is sent after 60 days not 30:

"$200 Mastercard® Prepaid card will ship after 60 days of active service (allow 10-12 weeks for processing/delivery)."
Isn't it invite only promotion? or anyone who adds a new line eligible? wondering if I can do it by purchasing pixel 3a from bestbuy with kick start plan

There is nothing in the actual published terms and conditions that says it is invite-only. It also does not mention that in the internal terms and conditions posted at
https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c...w_line_on/

So my personal interpretation of the advertising copy "Invite only" is that it just means you will not get it unless you know about it and apply. That would be your invitation.

However I could see it as being excluded by the Best Buy Sprint terms and conditions which probably say "may not be combined with other offers." You will have to study both sets of terms and conditions carefully or just apply and take your chances.

I just want to give an update: was able to add an additional line to my existing BYOD free 1 year plan on 8/6/19. Agent added Sprint Complete but I did not argue and just removed it via chat after the call.

I will have one but it is back-ordered for the 22nd..

I am confident it will work fine. It is 100% supported. Actually it supports everything including VoLTE.

It came with the needed sim already in it, right?.

What error did you get?

Did you swap it on using Chat or add it as a new line? I trust you did not try moving sim cards - that is not the way things are done on Sprint.

Yes it is $30 less $5 credit for autopay.

You may get the $200 MasterCard if you register after at
https://www.sprintpromotionshub.c...NEWLINE719

https://www.sprintpromotionshub.com/#/200NEWLINE719

However some people have received the $200 card and some not. It is hard to tell why they did not receive it in some cases. There are a number of rules as listed there that they could have run afoul of. For example, it is supposed to be one per account.

So going back is considered new line to get the mastercard?

Just to clarify the $25 kickstart is actually $30 but it will bring it down to $25 if I autopay.
