So going back is considered new line to get the mastercard?

Just to clarify the $25 kickstart is actually $30 but it will bring it down to $25 if I autopay.
(1) If you are activating through a recovery offer, that is a concession on its own, so whether you can ALSO get the Mastercard offer is totally unknown unless someone here has succeeded and can post. It is anybody's guess. It is not really a new number if it is Recovery, is it?

It is a complicated question because porting out and in might also disqualify you, even without a recovery offer, because that is not truly a new line either.

It all depends exactly what checking they do, which is unknown.

(2) Correct

"Galaxy Note10, $19.79/month after $19.80/month credit, Galaxy Note10+ with 256GB, $26.04/month after $19.80/month credit Galaxy Note 10+ with 512GB, $26.04/month after $19.80/month credit with $100 down payment Credits applied within 2 bills. Reqs approved credit, 18-monthly lease payments, new line of service. If you cancel early, remaining balance due. Excludes tax. Requires qualifying plan"

It usually does not make sense to do upgrades on the Free plan because

(1) You can not use the service credits because there is no monthly charge to offset. So the saving does not occur.

(2) They lock you in for 18 months, well into the period where the monthly plan cost changes under the agreement to $60 for the first line etc. They have designed it so you cannot switch to a new lower-cost special offer without paying off the lease.

You can't. It says new lines which would exclude free plan and kickstart.
Also it's 50% off lease which comes to only 37.5% off price of phone if you keep it.
With free plan and kickstart around these lease deals usually not worth considering on anything less than 4 new lines/phones. SWAC maybe exception.

Great info in this thread, just completed port out (Tmobile Pay as you go plan) and port in back to ( Kickstarter V2). Took around 45 mins total. 3rd try with T-mobile to get that plan, charged $4.44 (Taxes), got the account number on phone and then used sprint.com to add new line for porting in back.

Did you use the same SS# to port back in?

I am sure the person will reply to you and that will be good confirmation but meanwhile, KickStart (unlike the Free Plan when it was open) does not require a new SSN. It never did. You can add a new KickStart line on the same account / same ssn any time and it always has been that way. It just has to be a new line (hence the need to port out and in), but not necessarily a new account. We were adding Kickstand lines as well as maintaining our Free Plans from the day it first came out.

Yes same SSN, same account, just port out to any carrier and port right back in after 15-20 mins.

If I already have 5 lines on my plan, will I not be able to add an Apple Watch/iPad Cellular?

If I'm reading the terms right on the $200 MC offer "Allow 10-12 weeks after registration for Prepaid Card to arrive. Phone must be active for 60 days and remain in active and in good standing through the card fulfillment process.", you would need to have your phone on the service for about 3 months since the card fufillment process says to allow 10-12 weeks for MC card to arrive. My thinking is even if one didn't need phone service, you would still profit over $100 just by signing up for Kickstart even if you don't use it and then cancelling once you get the card.
