Thank you.
Looks to be that same used for my S10+. So I can just do the swap online and use the same Sim card I already have then correct?
You should be able to but I have never tried personally.
I see more problems having phone Imei being accepted initially on a new Samsung phone but running thru byod checkers can usually fix that.

Yes a few people did get ignorant (or scheming) reps who said that, but they just had to call back a few times at most.

But most of us, including me, have added free lines recently with zero difficulty. It just depends on the rep but maybe also be assertive would be my suggestion - tell, do not ask.

So yes, just call back. You can mention that your account was pre-approved to add additional free lines at any time up to five.
It took THREE calls to different reps, but finally the third one let me do it. If you hadn't suggested calling back and trying again, I would've given up. Thanks for your advice and repped

Edit: Tried to rep you but it says I need to spread the wealth around before giving it to you again, so you've obviously helped me in the past, too. Thanks for being an asset to this community

The last day of my billing cycle is Aug. 18. Can I port it out to T mobile for a few minutes and they transfer to Kickstart?
If you go to tmobile store they can do it in 15 minutes but you have to pay $10 for sim card and $3 for service. It is small amount since you already have one year free service.

Has anyone used samsung phone from the insight program with this plan? Just got A50 and it doesn't work. Any workaround?
Mine came and works ok including VoLTE and Wifi Calling, both of which are essentials for me. (However the signal is inferior to what my S8 gets, and the same is true of the voice, so I am thinking about returning it for those reasons).

I swapped it on in place of my S8.

By the way there are no plan-specific restrictions on this plan. Any phone that can be activated on Sprint plan can be activated on this plan.

However, you would need to activate it manually by calling the number ending in 8777 with a number to port in, OR swap it on, for this plan.

I signed up for the free year back in April when there was news the promotion might be ending. However, they are not letting me add a new line because the promotion has expired. They offered to add it as a Kickstarter plan for $25/month. Anyone else run into this problem? Wondering if I should call back and try to get a different rep or if it really did end and no new "free" lines can be added.
I added a new line yesterday and the day before. You have to talk to them confidently. One crazy rep said I can have as much as 6 lines but I know he's trying to hook me for a 6th paid line or something.

Probably any carrier now in my opinion because KickStart no longer requires a port-in. It used to. Therefore it probably accepts transfers even from Sprint MVNO's. If anyone has tried it, please post. You could certainly try it if it is easier.

However certain other offers might not count a transfer from a Sprint mvno as being a new line (for example the MasterCard $200 offer). They may still give the $200, but it is impossible to be sure.

(Just to be clear, you still cannot port a line to the Free plan from a Sprint mvno).

You think I can just change to Tello and do you know if Tello will work with my sprint sim or I need a new sim? I have a S10E, Do you know if all service providers will require me to buy first a sim card to activate or there are some not?

Ah an easy one.

Tello and all Sprint mnvo's accept the same sim and you never need to change sim because of moving from Sprint to or from Sprint MVNO's.

They will always accept the existing Sprint sim.

I see T-Mobile appears to no longer be offering the $3 pay-as-you-go service plan option for online activation, I wonder if anyone tried already to activate a T-Mobile SIM card for Internet only plan for $10/mo from this ebay item#: 173883636023 (search it on ebay) and then switch it back to sprint kickstart plan successful ?

I did the tmo online activation a couple of weeks ago using the $3 paygo option and a digital sim. Worked like a charm. Sad if that option is no longer available. I didn't do the kickstart, however you shouldn't have a problem.

I called Recovery using this link. https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...rQYdsWEO0Q

After being on hold for 1.5 hours, it got cut off. Is this hold time normal? Any other number I can call to get Kick Start? Thanks!

If you have already ported out, you can just sign up for KickStart online or by phone without involving Recovery at all as per

My 1 year free end on 7/30 and my billing cycle is on 8/12. I called the retention center last month on 7/15 and asked to switch to the kickstart for the next billing cycle. I just got the bill on 8/13 and it is $25 per month. Tax was around $4.50
