The other day I spilled water on the sim card :-( It still works fine but I am thinking to get a new one.
That is a completely valid reason but I would not bother personally.

They are extremely resilient. I doubt you will have a problem with it.

I will watch with interest for answers to your post but I doubt it. Even existing customers who add a KickStart line have been turned down.

I think a free plan customer may be eligible though for one added free line. I have applied for that and so far it is still processing.
I applied for it too but didn't get any update, not even any email from Sprint after submitting online, which makes me wonder if I typed my email address correctly.

Yes, nothing has changed.
You still have to call the number ending in 8777 and port in a number as before. No you never could do it online and you still cannot.
Also do not ask them if you can do it, just tell them you are adding a free line that was previously approved (for up to 5 lines at any time).
Thank you!!

have anyone ported out to t-mobile $10 internet plan(prepaid plan) and successfully port back to sprint? I already have a t-mobile sim card and wish to use this route instead of going to a t-mobile store and use their ultra mobile $3 per day prepaid plan.
It's $3 per month.

If you're on Android, and since you're on Sprint/TMO, you can test your (current) TMo strength by buying Signal Check Pro (~$2) and disabling your Sprint bands. It's a bit OT, so you'll have to google it.

ETA I believe TMo Test Drive is also still available.
Thank you!! repped

Wait, you can still add BYOD lines? I thought that couldn't be done once the enrollment period ended.

Will we be able to add Kickstart lines once the enrollment period has ended? Any idea yet when that will be?

Also, are people still getting offers for different versions of Kickstart? Wasn't there supposed to be some big change today?

You need SignalCheck Pro to show the band but for a free tool you can use LTE Discovery instead (which is not as good as SignalCheck Pro but adequate).

You can still add free plan lines to existing free plans. However the free period on newly added lines will end at the same time as the first original line.

The only change to KickStart for now turned out to be the $10 price increase at Sprint stores. There is no increase at indirect resellers (Best Buy etc) or online or via TeleSales.

Nobody has reported any further offers or anything further so far that I have seen.

Thanks. I have four $25 Kickstart lines right now. Will I be able to add another line once they do end the enrollment period?

Also, when I looked at adding another Kickstart line via the website, it added a $30 activation fee. Any way to avoid that?

They did not allow additional KickStart lines to be added during past periods where Kickstand was stopped for a while. I imagine that will be the same again.

Try signing up for the Kickstart line by calling 866-782-8777 and asking if they will waive the activation fee if you sign up over the phone then and there.

Thanks. Do you know if there is a limit on the number of Kickstart lines per account?

My plan ends on 9/30. When is the last day to port out so there won't be any billing issues? Is it 9/29 or maybe even few days earlier.

Also, what is the PIN or Account Code for porting out say to RedPocket or Mint?

You do not need to cancel in that case.
Just port out the number and that will automatically cancel the line in question.
The pin to use is just your normal account pin.
How do I find out the PIN? Am logged into Sprint.com but only see my account number.
