Are we eligible to get the $200 gift Master card for adding line to this free plan
A couple of us have applied. It takes 3 months or so before they are paid out.
My status has changed from Processing to Pending which might be positive.

I have a question for additional lines to be added. Do they also need to be port-in numbers? Or maybe new numbers assigned by Sprint? Last time when I ported in a second line, the guy over the phone wanted to generate a new number for my device without asking for any port-in info at first. Thanks a lot!
Sure you can let them generate a number but then it will not be free. The system will make them paid lines at $50 or so a month. That is what happened to the last person who tried that.

It is best to stick to the terms and conditions of the offer regardless of what the rep suggests.

See recent posts on using the Ultramobile/TMobile $3/mo Paygo plan for getting onto the Kickstart plan by porting out and back. You can search the thread for "ultramobile".

A follow up, to add a second line (unrelated line currently on ATT)... I go through the process we previously discussed for my line, then just log into my account and add line via KickStart at will be another $25/mo?
You just port it as a new Kickstart line directly from AT&T.

Yes it will be another $25 a month.

I have some questions about sprint plans. current long time customer with 2 outdated plans. we would like (prefer) the kickstart plan for atleast 1 line. no go with a general retentions cold call as plan is not available to us currently. perhaps you have some suggestions/ideas for us.

if we cancel for 'end of billing cycle' and 'come back' call does NOT offer us kickstart can we still port out and keep our phone numbers before end of cycle or can we 'cancel' the cancellation? we do not want to lose our phone numbers.

2nd question - if we port out and as I read in forums the ultramobile $3 plan is available - retail store is selling it for 3 + 10 for card? is there a better source? is there a lower cost option from another mvno etc? or another option?

3rd question - for current customer - if we port out do we need to wait 45 days to come back to be eligible for the kickstart plan? maybe thinking it would not be available then? I read that some have been eligible right away when porting back in?
Recovery is currently confused about the cost of KickStart and quoting it too high by $10 a month so it may be best to just port out and back in for now if you want kickstart.

You can either pay $10 for the Ultramobile sim at a TMobile store or buy it on EBay much cheaper (Ebay has some preloaded sims too)..

There is no 45 day wait for Kickstart for a current or recent customer since Kickstart is open to all current/recent and new customers as long as they are adding a line.

EDIT: went to another tmobile and was $13 out the door + tax.
Tmobile wants $10 for the sim + some kind of $10 activation fee. I walked since I still have some time and was going to try a different store. Not sure if that's normal.

Really!

I do not think other people had to pay $10 plus $10 plus $3 plan fee.

Although I haven't tried, Best Buy and Target has ting gsm sim kit on sale for $4.99 includes $30 credit.

Edit This option may cause Ting to ban email, CC, and possibly not honor $30 credit. So not recommended for POPI.
Quote from laalaa99stl :
I found this older thread which includes discussion of the use of Ting GSM SIMS for PIPO. Looks like it CAN be done with the caveat that if you port out immediately, Ting will ban your e-mail and CC info against ever using them again. So use a virtual CC if you can find the rare bank that will still generate one for you.

There are lots of cheap Ultra sims and bundles too on EBay. I would call Ultramobile first to ask if you can buy a sim from anywhere and activate it directly with them for Paygo and for how much, or whether you have to involve TMobile. https://www.ultramobile.com/paygo/

Or buy a bundle on Ebay.

Or ask https://www.ezkonnect.com/ultra-m...cards.html which should be able to answer questions since they are an independent Ultramobile seller.
do you know which ones would work for this prepaid pay as you go that I can purchase on ebay or something similar for port? thank you.
