My BYOD plan is getting expired this month 9/30/2019
1) Which cheap plan like this should i go? I want unlimited plans
2) have total 5 people to buy new line. Whats the requirement, whats the cheapest way to port out and port in back to sprint.
Quote from aviseqdas :
the cheapest sprint plan is the kickstarter plan which is still $30 so I think you will be better off with something like AT&T Prepaid, Cricket, H20, LycaMobile, Ultramobile, Visible etc.
KS is $25.
Also note the requirements.
i want unlimited plans

It is KickStart, not "kickstarter" and is $25 with autopay:

If you read the details on Sprint website it says its $35 and $10 discount shows up in the next 2 billing cycles. If you go to bestbuy and preoder the iphone on sprint it shows $30 as the Kickstarter plan and $5 autopay makes it $25 but taxes etc makes it back to $30. At&t prepaid has 17gb data and hotspot is included. Pretty good plan!

now u r just grasping...

the KS is $25. not $30.

the att and other still u mentioned s irrelevant since the person wants unlim.
so while it may be a good plan or great plan is not satisfying the requirements

says $25 per month plus taxes and fees for 8 GB when you pay $300 in advance which is hardly comparable and locks you in for a year..

That is a cool option. Thanks! Applause
I know we can wait a month but did you try moving to kickstart? I like to move immediately as this is my primary phone.

Quote from RF.23 :
I found the easiest way to port out (and then port back in) is to:
1. get a free t-mobile sim from Apple Store (if you have iphone. in fact, apple store will still give you one if you are not using iphone)
2. activate thru t-mobile prepaid online, and choose $10 per month Internet only plan (the lowest plan). after you activated, the account will be printed on the confimation page. And your sprint # will become a t-mobile # in less than 10 minutes (mine is like < 5 mins)
3. once it becomes a t-mobile # (ported to t-mobile), try to sign into t-mobile and then you can be sure the # is indeed on t-mobile.
4. after that, you have a month to port to other services (such as kickstart or another BOYD free one-year plan).

Tello is changing up the Paygo terms, maybe there is a chance we are grandfathered in. I saw you in the HF topic. https://www.howardforums.com/show...Expiration
I'm kinda freaking out with deja vu, this seems like ringplus shenanigans.
Does using Tello Dollar count as order? I have lots of Tello Dollars by referring friends, where I and friends got $10 each. I am pretty sure the new policy is in effect since Sep 1st, 2019 and not 2017. The 2017 policy was you must use the service at lease once every 3 months Stick Out Tongue

I'm hoping it was just semantics but you might think they would proof read policy and get the dates right. For now the jury is still out on what they mean, everyone is confused. I'd like to think we could trust these guys to be more forthcoming with facts.

I didn't want to sidetrack this topic but a lot of Sprint users are looking at Tello. Maybe keep it in the tello thread. https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=130472494&postcount=728

I emailed Tello about the Pay Go credits and surprisingly got a response about an hour later. They confirmed that you only need to send a text or make a phone call at least once every 90 days so your balance does not expire.

Not sure if this has been posted but for those still on the free plan and looking to add another line before their free plan expired, it looks like you are out of luck. I tried last night and was told that no more free lines are allowed to be added to existing accounts. This was tried twice (huca) with the same results. I was able to add the $25 kickstart plan with the $200 Mastercard promo though.

As always YMMV but it appears they are not allowing anymore lines to be added to existing accounts.

What the hell kind of SDer gives up after just two attempts? I know this is hard for you to fathom, but there MAY be more than one uninformed Filipina at the Sprint call center. It's in your agreement. You were pre-approved for x number of lines. Additional lines may be added at ANY time. So let me break it down for you programatically:

Code:
while (!success) {huca();}

as u said..is ymmv..if u really want another line...maybe u need to try a 4,5 or 6 more times.

also, how recently did u do the $25 kickstart plan with the $200 Mastercard promo ?

is it still active?

though my plan is good till 1/31.

i may just do that now..at least i would get another ~7 months free..
