Hold on, I didn't know that about adding a line. I was thinking the new line will have new expiration date and not my original expiration date.
perhaps it would behoove u to ...read the thread...maybe the wiki..or last few posts..

What is the issue?
Often people here can help better than Sprint could.
Also how best to pursue an issue depends on what the issue is.
There are several issues, but basically my account is not set up the way that I was promised. One example is that one of my Kickstart lines was changed (after the fact she without my permission) from v2 at $25/month to v3 at $35/month. I've provided proof of the original pricing, and I have promises in writing that it will be fixed, but it never has been and now they are literally ignoring me.

I really wish they still had email customer service. That way everything is in writing, and I don't have to spend hours and hours on chat or phone calls for issues that should take 5 seconds. That's one of the reasons I asked if there's an email address for the Kickstart team (many of the chat and one reps I've talked with have said that they will "contact the Kickstart team and tell them to make the change," which is why I think going directly to that team, IN WRITING, might finally resolve this).

No it is excluded explicitly by name in the terms and conditions of the Free plan.
Lots of people tried and failed.

Kickstart V3 shows as $35 at first glance but you still get the $25 final price if you activated over the phone or online because they apply a $10 credit.

Have you got an actual bill that shows $35 instead of $25 that does not ALSO show the $10 credit as well? If so, just get Chat to correct it.

That is the way it is done now in V3. Trying to change the plan to V2 is pointless and they are very unlikely to do it..

The $25 price for V3 ($35 less $10 credit) is shown at https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/pl...start.html and nobody could argue that.

My bill shows $40 with a $5 discount: $35. Also, like I said, there are many other issues. Do you have any ideas on how to escalate to someone who will actually help and respond?

I know but does it show an additional $10 credit?

So during the setup, there was an option to port in your number from Sprint even if you chose the $10 internet plan?

How long ago did you do this?

Regardless, thank you and comintel for your input and help with this.
yes, you get to port in a # with the $10 internet plan. And, I did it for two lines about two weeks ago.

No. First it said "Kickstart v2, $30 - $5," then it changed to "Kickstart v3, $40 - $10 - $5," now it says "Kickstart v3, $40 - $5." Chat confirmed it shouldn't be this way and promised to fix it "within 24 hours" over a week ago.

There are additional issues I don't want to discuss openly as I want to give Sprint a chance to fix them because they will reflect quite poorly on the company. That's why I'm trying to figure out ways to escalate within Sprint, especially if there's an email address for the Kickstart team.

Other people have reported that plan display detail change too but were told they would still get the $10 credit. I believe you will find that is the case. In any case it is a common issue so it will solve itself. The price of KickStart is not going to go up from $25 while it is still being advertised as $25. So I would just wait until you are actually billed $35 currently due (if ever which I doubt),

I very much doubt there is any Kickstart team. It is just another plan.

Okay, we'll see. Any ideas on how to escalate other issues?

As for the team, I've had multiple people from multiple departments say there's a dedicated Kickstart department, so I just took them at their word (which I'm learning isn't always with very much at Sprint).

It would depend exactly what the other issues are how to escalate them.

I would suggest detailing them here first as often people can help.

If you're handy with small tools you can probably get a kit and do it yourself for half the price or less. Not hard, I've torn the phone down before. Otherwise just get another used 6. They're super cheap now anyway. Then you have a parts phone too
Thanks. I am handy. Where do I get a kit? eBay? Amazon? Now you have given me an idea that I would love to try out (much to the chagrin of my wife!)

Would they charge me for the battery replacement? If yes, any way to estimate how much so that I can decide on a new phone vs replacement vs the kit idea that was suggested in this thread
