Does anyone know any other ideas? I see people taking about h20 Sims for $1, but those are GSM, right?
Where are you located? Should be a Corp store nearby.
See wikipost for link on ordering directly from sprint.

I'm in the boonies. There's a store in town, but it's not corporate. Last time I asked they said they couldn't give out SIM cards... Nearest one is about 50 miles away.

Thanks for reminding me about the wiki. It's been so long that I forgot that info was in there.

If you want definiteness, $2.99, delivery included, for the multi sim kit from
https://shop.sprint.com/mysprint/...ndent=true

This kit has sims that cover all phones except a few older sprint-only models.

You can also get it on Amazon for the same price but subject to delivery charges..
https://www.amazon.com/Sprint-Sim...B07SWDX7BF

Many (most?) Sprint stores unfortunately will not sell or give to non-customers or even free plan customers in many cases.

If you are porting out of Sprint to a different carrier with the idea of porting back into Sprint, you can re-use your Sprint sim if you are using the same phone.

I am glad you mentioned that! Maybe he is porting out and in and in that case he should not touch the sim, exactly as you said.

And Kickstart now shows as $35 a month on the main Sprint home page and on the plan page. We did our best to caution people that $25 Kickstart was ending yesterday

For those whose free plan is ending, Kickstart may still a better choice, even at $35 a month, compared to other Sprint postpaid plans (not including MVNO plans though) except for those with multiple lines or who need hotspot.

you can buy cheap sim cards on ebay. Apple stores not so easy to get sim cards as most store know already and they just direct people to go to tmobile or sprint store.

Again you drive around and spend money on gas and time to get a free sim card at apple store only to be turned down. Best to buy sim cards on ebay less than 10$ .

EBay can be handy alright for Sprint only models that are not on the BYOD list and therefore not in the Sprint four-sim kit.

For anything mainstream, including all iPhones, etc, you can get Sprint's official four sim kit that covers all phones on the BYOD compatibility list delivered by courier for $2.99 (also on Amazon), which surely beats any EBay price doesn't it? Also you get 4 sims, not just one. The extras might come in useful later for other phones or I suppose you could sell them on EBay!.

That's great you made it in under the wire! Many people here have been helping. I am glad this thread is one with a nice positive tone.

There's really nothing else comparable with unlimited high-speed data for that price.

Yes you can.

Many people here including me have been adding lines.

There are lots of successful posts here.

For best results, tell the rep you are adding another of your 5 pre-approved free lines that can be added at any time (do not ask if you can).

However added lines have the same expiry date as your first line.

Check out Visible wireless. It was a rough port in for me, but it has been STELLAR having unlimited verizon 4g for 40 bucks a month flat. My DL speed is north of 200 at times and I'm in the FL Keys.

According to a post on reddit, you can still get Kickstart for $25 at Best Buy through November 2.

Addition: I do not know if it can be done without buying a phone.
