The Verizon cost for 5 lines is $150/mo+taxes/fees (probably around $10/line=$50/month), so the net cost for the 5 lines would be about $65/month depending on the local fees/taxes.
That's about $13/line/month, not bad for a money sucking company like Verizon.
Now, the urlhasbeenblocked thing may be per order and that complicates things.
The problem is the +/- $200/mo after the year is over.
OR you can stay with Verizon for the minimum commitment of 6 months to get the Mastercard and look elsewhere, in which case it'll be a bit cheaper depending on the price of new service that you find.
If anyone has tried this and can clarify things please do!

If this Verizon offer is available next April or so when the free Sprint thing expires it may be worth looking into.
Or perhaps by then there would be a new competitive offer from the merged Sprint/T-Mo company.
Is the deal known to be good for all plans, like prepaid $35 ?

Why wait till April, port now and get a free plan till june.
Yes you have to port out (or cancel) to be eligible for Kickstart. Well, you could try Retentions at 844-382-3317 in case they will help but I doubt it.
In actual fact, you can cancel and rescind and switch to Kickstart via "Come back to Sprint" without actually leaving but it is tricky -there is a link in the Wiki. Sprint staff will *not* help you do this or discuss it.

the Verizon BYOD deal only requires you to stay for 6 months.
$1625/12=$135.42/month
$1625/6=$270.83/month
I'm not for sure, but if the deal is still around in June/July, you might be able to do the port out/port in again under a new SS like we did here.

Of course, you're right as I mentioned above: "OR you can stay with Verizon for the minimum commitment of 6 months to get the Mastercard and look elsewhere, in which case it'll be a bit cheaper depending on the price of new service that you find."
Now, the porting thing has become far more expensive with the major cell companies as many here used and did in the past few years. For instance with Verizon prepaid it costs $50.
So, one must hunt and find other ways to port out that are not expensive and easy to do.
