However my port was approved, somehow it got stuck and I had to call them to finish it.
They were able to change my line over from kickstart to the free BYOD plan, no hassle at all.
I am also holding them to the $25 credit they promised and will also file for the $200 mastercard for the grief they gave me. Phone number for the card promo is 8444507865. Customer service told me I might not be eligible considering I changed the plan after the original port in, however they never gave me the option of having the free BYOD plan anyway. Won't go down without a fight, but I'll update on what happens
It may have mattered more how they delivered their request than what the request was.
I see people posting over-the-top and even obscene language about carriers quite frequently, accusing them of crimes etc that may merit justify cutting them loose them if it upsets the staff member personally. Or saying they are email-bombing Sprint etc. Probably most staff can take it but it gets to some of them too easily.

Personally, I'm going with FreedomPop 12mo 1GB/mo SIMs for myself and my son. It's going to take some discipline on data usage for sure. I'm probably going to need something else because I'll probably work away from home a lot. I should have done the Red Pocket deal for the 5 or 15GB plan. Missed out. Hopefully it comes back before I get sent out on the road
