My free unlimited plan expired in Nov and im still only paying $15 for 3 lines. According to chat rep my plan expired but my bill will not change. Is anyone else keeping the free plan after the expiration without a price change??

Can you please check what is the plan name and monthly limit?. Few others also reported same issue here but no one confirmed what is the plan name now. Usually system will start billing new rate once promo end date <= syscurrent date. Not sure how it's not happening?. As Comintel and others mentioned, you will be charged with full plan price soon once they fixed the issue on their system. It is better to port out to save.

This is walking a fine line. Did you ask the rep what's going on with your plan? I know we don't want them to notice, but what if they retro actively charge you for the price mistake?

FCC and many state policies doesn't allow "overcharge retroactive" billing by communication "provider".
He should check his billing and just make sure that they charge him what is on the bill.

Also it could be probable that they don't want to see an exodus after the free year and may be let T-Mobile deal with that once they merge.

Most likely it is just different interpretations and calculations of end date.

Probably we can help sort it out. What does your bill say under "Plans and Services" about the exact date your free period ends? Can you cut and paste the full text from there (please see example below)?

It is essential to have that to discuss this meaningfully.

Chat reps know next to nothing. I would suggest calling Retentions at 844-382-3317 instead when needed. But first, let's take a look here.

P.S: Here is what the key information looks like. What does yours say?

Plans & Services
$ x.xx
Unlimited-Bring Your Phone Unlimited Talk, Text & Data
$ x.xx
Unlimited - Bring Your Phone Unlimited Talk, Text and Data. $5/line/mo up to 5 lines. (up to $60/line value free with AutoPay until 4/30/20) Requires $5 per line/per month AutoPay discount. Savings until 4/30/20; then $60/mo. for line 1, $40/mo. for line 2 and $20/mo./line for lines 3-5 with AutoPay DVD-quality streaming.

You can access it online and you will be able to find that section if you look through it online.

Free plan ends for me 03/31.. I thought T-Mobile was the way to go, but nope. They are just as much money as everyone else. I am talking a single line only.

I concluded I will be going with Verizon. Yup...Verizon is now not overpriced anymore. Just a few more dollars than AT&T and T-Mobile. Does not make sense to go with lesser service quality for a few dollars saved

Verizon: Cheapest is $70 with Auto-Pay + taxes
T-Mobile: Cheapest is Essentials is $60 with Autopay + Taxes (making it $70)
AT&T cheapest is $65 with Autopay + taxes
Should have done their hookup deal. It would have been 56 dollars for unlimited with taxes included. Was available till the end of 2019

Mint is prepaid right? So I can port and try the service and just let the number die by not re-upping after the 3 months?

I have a line I'm looking to get off this Free Sprint plan...

I'm wondering if there is a cheaper pay-as-you-go than Tello for starting services? They require minimum $20 credit to get started. I really only want to keep the number after porting out from other carrier. TiA
