While waiting for new replies I can summarize prior posts here and in other forums for you:

Sure lots of people have the $25 plan still and some even have the old $15 plan in fact.

But a few have had your problem.

In the latter months of the $25 online offering, it had already gone up to $35 in stores but a $10 monthly credit was being offered online. So people got the $35 plan but accompanied by a $10 monthly credit.

So being on the $35 plan is actually not the problem. The problem is that you are missing the accompanying $10 monthly bill credit which should also be there for people who signed up online or by phone on the date you signed up, which brings it down to the net $25 price that you definitely are entitled to. What date did you sign up by the way?

I am just explaining why there is a lot of confusion on this among reps (and customers).

Now, this credit can be lost in certain circumstances such as transferring the plan etc, but I am assuming you did not do anything unusual like that.

So, especially if you signed up while the $25 offer was still in effect, you can email Sprint VP Marci Carris to get it straightened out. She handles mix-ups like this. [email protected].
I signed up on 9/17/19. The $25/line was 100% still being offered at that time, and an agent has even confirmed that they can see that on their end as well. I'm not sure why they are having difficulty adding the $10/line credit, I assume it's something agents you chat with aren't allowed to do? The most they have done is just add a general one time credit to my bill.

Also, what does that math mean, lol.

Thanks!

Right, it was being offered online at a net price of $25, which appeared in the ads, but the the details in the actually said $35 a month with a $10 BYOD credit. So the plan price of $35 is ok but what you are missing is the $10 monthly credit that was sipposed to go along with it. I suspect that this is what is confusing some reps. They would not be able to enter it as a simple net amount of $25. They have to enter it as $35 with another promotional discount of $10 a month.

You are right, Chat specializes in "feel good" support and has little power to do anything beyond issue small credits.

You need to email [email protected] or, if you want to give their highest support level a try first, call Retentions/Account Services. at 844-382-3317

There is another way too, if you prefer, which is to open a brand new line at Best Buy as they have $25 flat with no $10 credit needed (buying a cheap phone along with it if required - it may not be in store).
This could probably be ideal going forward because there would be no risk of a $10 credit getting lost in the future.

If you buy a Sprint branded phone or a reseller flex policy phone it is always locked for 50 days supposedly to help protect against fraud etc. Verizon is locking them initially too now.

You can get it unlocked after 50 days on Kickstart (or any Sprint postpaid plan).

That is what was said at the start and should still be the case.

You're not going to find that many people doing it though.

Hopefully someone will post who does it.

I've got an extra line I want to save from another carrier, so when I port away within 60 days (single tear falling from cheek), they are all together in 1 account.

Sure you can just call the number ending in 8777. I would bear in mind that some people are being turned down initially by reps peddling kickstart so you may have to argue or try a couple of times.

According to this post,

https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c...dium=web2x

you may be able to get the $25 Kickstart price if you activate BYOD in-store at Best Buy even WITHOUT buying a phone.

Thanks it is a stellar deal.

I realized that I can get these (zero-dollar and up) Sprint flex-lease offers even for only a single line by having a corporate liability business account with as low as a $17 a month plan (which includes only 3 GB but that is more than I ever use). I happen to have a small corporation that has a good credit rating so it qualified. Individual-liable business accounts used to be able to get that plan too, but they no longer can.

I see that Desi notes in his post that there is another somewhat similar but still broader (and better for some) S20 offer at Best Buy too, for those with qualifying Sprint accounts. However, in my own case, I believe Sprint corporate accounts do not qualify for Best Buy's versions of Sprint offers.
