I just chatted in and was told that the 5 lines for $100 is only good for new accounts. Frown
I guess you could move all your lines onto her account (or onto Mint or Visible or whatever), wait 45 days, and then reapply under your own SSN.

Some of those offers currently run to early April, but have often been extended, although the merger is pending now.

Anyway it might be pretty risky because the iPhones you found on EBay might end up being stolen or whatever and your whole deal cancelled retroactively.

Just as an update, Sprint has just dropped the need for a trade-in on the S20 offer:

https://newsroom.sprint.com/limit...quired.htm

This only applies to those with regular plans. Kickstart is not eligible.

Quote from comintel :
Update 2/28: They have dropped the need for a trade-in on the S20 offer!

Update 2/20: Now S20 is available for zero dollars per month with a trade-in of S8 or higher (which I had) so I switched my order to S20!

I just got it ordered for zero dollars per month on an 18 month lease on a new Corporate account. It should offered on individual accounts too but you can check that out. (For the benefit of others, you cannot get this offer on kickstart). With Sprint's 18 month flex-lease, you have to return the phone in good condition at the end of the 18 months and owe nothing (or upgrade it, or buy it for 6 months of regular non-discounted payments, or rent it month to month indefinitely, the last being the terrible default choice by which they make all their money).

As to porting out, 4/29/20 is ultra safe. Experience posted here indicates even 5/16/2020 is ok too in your case but nothing guarantees that in writing so personally I would stick with porting out by 4/29. Best port out for certainty rather than rely on (not always) prompt cancellation with Sprint.

Others may know of special offers but apart from that the best has been Ultra-mobile paygo plan sold in TMobile corporate stores
https://www.ultramobile.com/paygo/
or failing that the TMobile prepaid $10 plan.

However Best Buy may or may not insist you buy a phone to get the $25 Kickstart rate. It has been said you may not need to buy a phone if you do it in store but I would check carefully on this in the Slickdeals thread on that and in store.
Planning to visit TMobile corporate store and buy the pay go plan for KS port in from current free plan. Is there any time limit to port out from pay go because I need to make KS with in this weekend.

I believe you can do it right away. If anyone knows otherwise please post.

However porting on weekends is not a sure thing and TMobile has been known to have slowdowns at times.

I suspect the Ultramobile paygo sims might be best supported for later inquiries about pending ports etc. Usually corporate stores have them. You can ask at the store which they suggest.

Sure. Thanks Comintel. Can we simply ask for Paygo sim at store or will they ask us to activate in store itself?. As you said porting on weekends not good, I will buy the sim tomorrow and port in to ultra on Monday and visit BB on Tuesday for KS. Will that work?. TIA.

You can buy the sim alone and take it home if you want.

Only corporate stores or "preferred" dealer stores have paygo sims, not all stores. But prepaid sims and a prepaid plan would be ok too, just somewhat slower support in my opinion.

As to the BB part, you have to figure out what phone to buy if the store requires that. Some people say there is one model phone that is free after discount. Some people say you do not have to buy a phone at all if you do it in-store. I would check out the thread for that offer for details.

Perfect. I am planning to go with BYOD to KS if they offer at store. If not, I need to look for other options which mentioned in this thread.

It was the same account so no need for a SSN. I ported one line at a time to TracFone and then right back to Sprint so there were always at least two active lines on the Sprint account. Each line was off of Sprint for less than 45 minutes.
How did you port into TracFone and back in 45mins? And how much it costs?

I've read last 10 pages, and still wondering if my plan says "Savings until 3/31/20; then $60/mo.", then this means
1) it actually end on 3/31 (as I understand account that show 4/30/2020 must have seen 4/30/2020 date long before).
2) if the billing date is 28th, I might actually get "free" service until 4/28. Anybody stayed on free BYOD plan after the expiration date recently?

Tello has unlimited low speed on all its monthly plans that have data, though, even the $5 plan.
Thanks for the info. Also, redpocket apparently also has unlimited 2G data, even on its ebay plans, even though it is not explicitly stated.

Recent experience among a limited number of users who posted was that you can stay past 3/31 (in your case) up to the end of your current billing period, whatever that happens to be, for example 4/28 in your case.

However there is nothing that says that in writing and most reps say to get off by the stated end date so that is what most people have done.

https://www.redpocket.com/plans
indicates unlimited 2G data on higher-level plans but not on their lower-cost plans which is the case with Tello plans right down to $5 month plans that include data.
