Thanks as always. She mentioned the account is cancelled. Not sure what the terminology difference is....cancelled, closed, suspended, etc...If 45 days from the last port out of the account...then today is 46th day...i can wait two more days to open a new account..just to be safe...does the online account ever go away?
Hey kenpet.... What are you doing in this thread!.... 😊

See the attached snapshot. When you go to Sprint.com/offers and then select I don't have a promo code and put today's date...you will see the options in snapshot. The $300 offer clearly mentions new customers and not existing customer.
Confirmation from a well-connected Sprint staff member who is in contact with the web merchandising team that existing customers are eligible:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c...dium=web2x

So people can just add a line on their existing accounts with a port in and qualify.

I think they would say that the language you mentioned from the heading was just promotional language, not part of the formal terms, but I totally agree it was poorly chosen and will confuse many people.

For Mint, you have to chat or call 611 on the phone to get your account number and pin. I just did so yesterday.

The pin is usually the last 4 digits of your account number.

I moved my Sprint plan over to Mint. Where do I find the mint account number and PIN which will be needed when I port out of Mint back to Sprint or some other provider based on the deals available ? I do not see that anywhere on the account.

Update on KS Plan port in from free service - They charged $30 activation charge and I chatted with Support team to waive off this charge. She is very helpful and removed $30 charges on my account. Also my new unlocked moto e6 which I bought it from BB, is locked to Sprint ( It was sold as unlocked phones but once we port into KS, Sprint lock is enabled.). If we bring our own BYUD devices too, getting locked to Sprint and we need to request for unlock after 45 days of service.

Right I was going to mention to you that you would likely need to leave that E6 on there for 50 days if you want it unlocked.

Your own BYOD devices will not be locked unless they were bought from a national retailer (such as Best Buy) under the flex policy, in which case they are locked to the first carrier they are activated on, or they are Sprint branded. But as you say, you can unlock them in 50 days anyway so it is not a major issue.

Yes. Correct. I was about to request for phone swap to my XS and after this conversation, I decided to wait for another 40+ days to request for unlock e6 and phone swap.

Perfect!

It is 50 days, not 40 or 45. They will not do it one day early.
