When you check usage in step 2 above you'll see:
My Usage - Current billing period - and the billing period dots for the days.
Say, your billing period is 3/11 to 4/10, there will be a blue dot or two around 3/21 or 3/22 or both, stating "Plan Change was done on 3/21 or 22 or both, when you hover the mouse over the blue dot(s).
There may be other plan change dates depending on your billing period.

So, when I called on 3/30 and was told that my free plan was extended, it had actually been extended about a week before!
It certainly looks as if this plan was extended for all and we didn't even have to ask???
OR perhaps we had to call/chat to manually implement the plan change in our particular accounts???

If you haven't yet called or chatted to extend your plan check the above first to see if your free plan has been auto-extended!

Everyone with a free byod expiring plan should have his/her plan extended for 2 months only.
However, when a friend called, the Retentions rep told him to call back towards the end of June for another extension. Take that with a grain of salt!

So, if your extension is for 5/31 call/chat a few days before and see if you can get another extension, OR check for the blue dots above before you call/chat for any additional plan changes around that time.
Thank you for the pointer, @HunterOne.

For me, all dots are gray except for today's being green.

The earliest dot is for 3/28 and I don't know how I can view earlier dates/dots.

I've not called Sprint yet.

Check your previous bill. Your billing period is probably 2/28-3/27, so your current billing period will be 3/28-4/27.
But you may not see the blue dots, they are there only for the current billing period.
The blue dots of the plan change date will be there, around 3/21-3/22, if those days show under the current billing period.
The steps you described in your previous post are correct.
Since your plan expiration date is 6/30/2020 as you said in your other post, your plan is extended and you didn't even have to call/chat!!!

Just checked mine and it has been extended to 06/30 and I haven't done a thing except I returned the magic box last week, which I would have kept longer if I knew it was being extended.

Thanks for the tip Hunter. Learn something new every day!

My blue dots are 3/21, 3/22 and 3/25. I did activate a new phone on the 22nd but i suppose that could be the 3/25 dot.

My opinion on the free extension is 2 reasons...

1. Being nice— Covid19 response and being a good neighbor to help you out for 2 months.
2. Being sneaky—- Stay on the free plan an extra 2 months so you will miss out on the $300 GC rebate that ends next week. The $300 GC will pay for 8 months of KS service.

Look at the bright side, there may be another 2 month extension or more after the 5/31 and 6/30 recent extensions.
Those here with the 6/30 date will know by 5/31 if that will be the case.

But, hey, didn't T-Mo promise not to increase prices for the next few years as a merger condition???
In that case the free byod plan should also stay so.
Just kidding!!!

Also, since Verizon just extended its $250 offer/line to 4/30, which will be further extended, Sprint may extend the $300/line offer too, maybe to 4/30 or 5/9.

The Verizon deal changed to a $250 Verizon eGift card. Good for merchandise or bill pay only. Confused

Don't get me wrong on the V deal...

With the $115 cb from BF for each new line...

5 lines— $575 cb + $1250 eGC = $1825
5 lines Verizon unlimited service @ $160 month
1825 / 160 = 11 months free Verizon unlimited service
