Ohh I saw that and didnt realize taht will use the native ios iphone dialer instead of GV phone dialer.

ETA: Thanks for the explanation and I would go ahead with GV porting now.
Yep, btw you still have to initiate the call from the GV app whichever option you choose. If you go with the carrier option, when you click a contact or dial a number through the GV app, a little pop up comes up to dial a randomized number that connects GV to the native dialer. The person you call will only see your GV number, or you can choose the anonymous option in settings if you prefer that.

Haha, yeah it looks weird. Especially if I ever look at the native dialer call list, seeing numbers from across the country.

Ported out of the Sprint free BYOD plan on March 18 (16 days into my billing cycle) and just received a bill today for $0 (no usual administrative fees, taxes, etc). Embarrassment

A tip: the "random" phone number is GV's association with the "real" number. So if you save the random number for that contact, then in the future you can directly dial that number and it will automatically call through GV (and show your GV number as the caller ID).

I ported out two weeks ago, but received a bill for $3.49. $0.99 regulatory, $2.50 admin. Must be because of my Magic Box. I will try to move it to my Sprint company phone account, which isn't easy because of account pin issues.

Unless there's been another update, I believe tomorrow is still the last day for the $25 BB/KS with potential $300 rebate.

Yes, tomorrow is last day, and best to give some margin when dealing with shaky Sprint systems. Rebate site went down last night, for example, creating high anxiety for many.

Judging by listings on several Sprint promo sites which are bought and paid for by Sprint, It appears that the Sprint $300 gift card offer has been extended to April 30.

I do not know whether or not this applies also to the BestBuy offer also but I would not be surprised.

Update 4/10: Unfortunately, although it did (and does) say that at https://www.pcworld.com/couponcodes/sprint and other sites, it is not looking good right now. The $300 gift card option appears to be gone from the Sprint side as of now. I do not know if they changed their mind or those sites are just wrong.
