Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I just talked to the CS and said it will not expire. Then I asked him where will I find that info in the account, he navigated to the plans and it shows the plans ends on 06/30/2020. He confirmed this as well after talking with a Supervisor. He is trying to find any plans for healthcare workers for me. Also, he is transferring me to the retention dept. ( 1-800-639-6111)

I am typing this as I am talking to the CS located in Toronto, CA. Attached you will find my account expiration details.
The unpublished Retention dept direct line is 844-382-3317 (Sprint does not give out this number).

How long do you have to out of sprint network before eligible for BB kickstart? I have 2 lines...thinking to port out and back to kickstart under different name...
You should be ok right away with a different SSN.

People are having trouble getting the offer through BestBuy if they have or had a recent account with Sprint.

But the phone number alone will not be an obstacle in this case. Just the SSN.

Thanks. What would be the best time to call the CS? Any time frame because of shift or just call? I am thinking to try tomorrow morning?

They may or may not let you combine it with the $100 offer.

Unless you use a different SSN, you would not be aeligible for new customer only offers for 45 days after leaving Sprint..
thanks 4 link

They seem to be open long hours but still I think it is best to call in the daytime if it is convenient for you. But if you would be rushed in the day time, you can call now.

It's not any phone. It's any Condition of unlocked Eligible phone. Ok if you have a broken phone.
Eligible phones seem to be Apple 6s and higher, Samsung S/Note 8 and higher, Google 3/a and higher, LG G7,8, V40,50, One Plus 6T and higher. It is also a free lease($525 savings/$29.17x18 bill credits) not a free phone 11. Need to pay $175 at end of lease to own.

I know you know this and imply it, but just to add some additional details for the benefit of those who do not know, the person does have the option of returning the phone at the end of the 18 month free lease and paying nothing at all, provided the phone is still in good condition at that time.

Of course many people may have dropped the phone and broken the glass during the 18 months and will have to pay for repairs or buy the broken phone as it is for the $175 (in this case). Others will forget to choose an option at the end of the 18 months and in that case will default to start being billed an expensive non-ending monthly rental charge.

In a few states you cannot make an election to buy the phone if you miss the exact right time for doing so. In those states, if you miss that time to do it at the end of the 18 months, you are forced into a monthly indefinite rental. Sprint blames state consumer protection laws for being forced into this policy, but such was not the intention of those laws of course.

So the lease has its pitfalls for sure, even if free, unless the person is very very careful.. .

Thank you. If you go on the main page for sprint via your phone, you'll see it pop up. It's $100 a month and free phones. They have it listed there. I do have my husband's ssn we can use. Any idea who to port to though that would be fast, easy and cheap?

Oh you're right - so they do allow combining them. That's good. You will have 30 days to mail in the old trade-in phones.

I looked at the terms and conditions info popup and it says a "new account and line" are required. It does not say a port-in is required. (The advertising mentions "when you switch" but wording like that has not been interpreted to require a port-in in the past).

So please verify with Sprint but you COULD start out by getting brand new lines and numbers on a brand new account and SSN.

The very safest thing to do would be to then port your old numbers out to Google Voice for $20 each and leave then there, pointing back to the new numbers so you still got calls to your old numbers. That is what I would do..

Ot port out and back BUT they COULD reject that as "not a new line" although they have not being doing that so far. People are still doing it but perhaps there could be a possibility they might start auditing for that at some point.. Let's see what others say. Also I am sure there will be other slickdeals threads on this.

I talked to the Retention CS with the phone number 844-382-3317 mentioned by COMINTEL. She said the chat CS don't understand the plans. All Free plans will expire at their respective date. She said I can upgrade my phones to a flex lease but pay $120+26 ( taxes) = 146/month for 4 lines ( 3rd line free) for an 18 month lease contract. I could get higher end phones as well, but pay the lease amount. I think its not a deal. I am trying to see if I can get the metro/tmobile deal.

You and all others here with 3-5 lines should check this post for the possibility of getting FREE unlimited Verizon service for 7-9 months:

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=137576762&postcount=43528

After 7 months, that's about at least until Christmas or so, one can decide what to do next depending on the deals at the time.
Certainly, around Black Friday to Christmas there are many promotions offered.
This Verizon deal is best for 5 lines or more but do the calculations for 3 or 4 lines.
It may still be an excellent deal if it costs, for instance, $10/month.
You MUST have Verizon eligible phones that will pass the Verizon IMEI check.

You can do the deal online only for the first 5 lines but if you have more than 5 lines, you must go thru BFRGL online for the rest so that you can get the $115/line for the additional lines and then have Verizon customer service combine the additional lines to the first 5 line account so that you can get the $30/mo/line rate. Of course, if you have 10 lines do it twice and leave it as 2 different accounts, and do not involve Verizon CS.
Good luck to all!

EDIT:

As I said in my other post, the deal expired on 5/31/2020 but Verizon has been auto-renewing this offer monthly since October 2019, and chances are it'll renew past 7/1/2020.
The CURRENT DEAL expires on 7/1/2020, please READ ALL INFORMATION, especially the little circled i's, here:

https://www.verizon.com/bring-you...410a24060e

And you can see the rates/lines here:

Retentions: 844-382-3317 and you should definitely call them.
You are absolutely right. Chat representative gave wrong information. Retention representative confirmed that BYOD free plan pricing will end 06/30/2020. I am going miss this plan like most of us. Thank you so much for information that you and this thread have been giving for long time. What is best unlimited plan for 2 lines? Right now, I am considering Hello Mobile and Altice Mobile.
