Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Doesn't this $300 GC offer have a clawback clause if Verizon lines are cancelled /ported out within 6 months ?
Yes it does, but once gift cards are received, no more need for out of pocket payments. The following bills can be paid using gift cards.

In case anyone missed the thread, TMo Tuesday offers should be available to Sprint subscribers soon. Possibly as early as next week. We'll see. The offers have been pretty meh of late though.

Best generally-available true unlimited plan for two lines in my personal opinion would be Sprint Kickstart for $25 per line via BestBuy or Visible Party Pay for $25 -$35 per line subject to heavy deprioritization in *some* areas (the rate would be $25 if you can get 4 people in an open group via reddit).

Hello Mobile is not really unlimited and is probably the worst mvno in the U.S. according to reviews and posts on reddit. Altice is fine if you quaify for thir lower rates.
Thank you. Sprint Kickstart through BestBuy makes sense since it is not MVNO. How to transfer from Sprint BYOD free to Sprint Kickstart plan? Is there any (how to) forum on it? Can I have two lines on Sprint Kickstart BestBuy plan under one account? My understanding is kickstart plan is one line per account.

The Best Buy Unlocked FREE Motorola E6 that comes with the Sprint $25 Kickstart plan is a possibility.
It should work with Verizon since it's the same phone that VISIBLE, a Verizon prepaid service, was giving away some months ago.
Unless their IMEI is not in the Verizon database.
These E6s are not really returnable to BB.
Does this mean start Kickstart service for a month, then take the phone to VZ? So out of pocket cost is $25 for 1 month of Kickstart?

People posted in the other Verizon thread that it took about 5 weeks, so 1 month out of pocket is most likely.

The $300 increase must have just happened today or so. The BFRGL CB is still $115.
This makes it even better for those with 3 or 4 lines and great for those with 5 or more lines.
It shows that competition is heating up.
This new $300 is per line or per account?

You cannot transfer from the free plan to Kickstart.

You would have to port out and in and I think you will have trouible at BestBuy porting back in on the same SSN because your old Sprint account will still be there for 45 days even empty of lines so you really probably need a new SSN.

It is not limited to one per account. Yes you can up to 4 kickstart lines on an account.

With new SSN, Do I need to port out and in or direct transfer to kickstart is possible?
If I have to port out and port in with new SSN which will result in new account number. Can I port in both lines right away which are currently in BYOD on different SSN and account number?
What are good options for porting out?

Hello Mobile originated on the Sprint network. My phones/sim cards are Sprint so I didn't need new sim cards. Since Sprint and T-Mobile have merged, Hello Mobile can now utilize T-Mobile's network, as well. You shouldn't need a new sim as Mint is based on the T-Mobile network.
The mint mobile SIM did not work for some reason. On checking their system, Hello said that they have a different SIM # listed on there which means that a new SIM is listed. This was yesterday when the rep said that a new SIM will be shipped out. I have not received any email on that as of now 24 hours later.

Yes

No

"Can I port in both lines right away which are currently in BYOD on different SSN and account number?"
Not without porting out first. After porting out, yes.

"What are good options for porting out?["
TMobile Prepaid / Ultramobile Paygo is popular (Ultramobile Paygo is available only at corporate-owned TMobile stores)..

By the way it is not always a piece of cake to do this at BestBuy. You probably will have to go into a store to do it without buying a phone, and some stores are mixed up about the offer. Many will do it though.

Thanks for information. I was planning to buy 2 phones(Moto E6) just for the sake. And was planning to use my current galaxy s10 phones with kickstart plan. But, it seems like if I buy phones(E6) then I have to use those phones which is not good.

Multiple BestBuy reps have posted on reddit that you do not have to buy a phone at all if you do it in-store.

Yes.
But BEFORE you open the seal on the phone box check that phone's IMEI for VERIZON compatibility.
The IMEI should be on the outside of the box.
I think you can cancel the Sprint service within a few days/a week/a month, double check on that, and if charged for the phone as long as the seal is NOT broken it is returnable.
Not exactly sure how this process may work.

This new $300 is per line or per account?
It is PER LINE. The BFRGL $115 cashback is ALSO PER LINE.
Please see my posts here for the past week or so for more info.
So IF you port 5 BYOD lines to Verizon you'll get 5x300=$1500 + 5x115=$575. TOTAL=$2075.
You'll be responsible for the first month's payment for these 5 lines, 5x30=$150, +PLUS the taxes/fees per line, probably around $10/line depending on the location,so about $200 for the 5 lines.
It takes 1-2 months to get the $300 codes that can be used to charge the monthly service. Posters in the other thread about this Verizon deal here at SD said that they got the codes in about 5 weeks or so.
Those $300 codes can also be used to pay for the Verizon Fios service and a few other things at Verizon only.
READ the Verizon T&C very carefully as I previously stated.
IF you have Verizon Fios service and you tie this wireless account there you'll also get a $10-$20 credit on your Fios monthly bill depending on the Fios services you have.
That about covers free unlimited service for about 9 months.
You MUST stay with Verizon for OVER 6 months, say 7 months, BEFORE you can port out or Verizon will claw back the $300/line, and you'll be charged.

IF you jump ship after the 6-7 months you can make $$, depending on the # of lines you have.

Of course, ALL these offers CAN CHANGE in a moment's notice or with NO notice at all.

Anyone having trouble signing up for the Verizon deal? I get to the checkout screen, to verify identity and when I hit enter, it just says, "your request could not be processed at this time. Please try again later". I tried early this afternoon and just now, and it still says the same thing.
