I end up doing Verizon 4 line do unlimited and 1 just kids. Already $575 shows on FRGL. Got email Confirmation shows $300 for do and $250 for just kids. However email shows 5*$20 activation fee total $100 to be added for the first bill. Is everyone paying $20 activation even on do unlimited? Also is there a way to use e gift card and get the auto pay discount?

It is pretty much off-topic in this thread but just fyi Kickstart and SWAC users are now being offered the "free unlimited line on us" according to numerous posts on reddit. This is new as of today. Prior to now, only higher-priced plans were eligible for this offer.

Details on the offer at https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...on-us.html

The offer should appear if you log into your account.

There is a thread on this offer here in Slickdeals.

So with the right moves, many of you can, after all, get a free line for life (well, the life of the line)!

The T&C state that the activation fees will be waived and credited within 2-3 billing cycles.
Also in your order confirmation email it should state for each line:

One-time Activation Fee: $20.00
(charge and credit appears on first bill)
Customer Agreement Term: Month-to-Month

There is a way to use e gift card and get the auto pay discount, someone posted it either here or in one of the other Verizon $250 threads.

LOL. "Be Frugal" is a cashback site. Just search for it. make account. search Verizon. I assume you just have to click through it to get the cashback.

When porting a Sprint phone number to Google---does it have to be under the same owner name? If account is under one spouse can the google name be that of the other spouse? or will they reject it.

You'll get an email with the code to apply for the rebate, AFTER THE ORDER IS COMPLETE, the code for the $250 eGift is BYODATHOME250 for the Start Unlimited Plan.
That's the code you'll get in the order confirmation email if you choose the Start Unlimited Plan.

For the other plans it will be $300, and it may be BYODATHOME300, so anyone who did the other plans please confirm.

A WORD OF CAUTION:

In the latest T&C posted, there is only mention of a $300 rebate with NO activation fees, BUT the T&C state for SELECT Unlimited Postpaid Plan, BUT does not define what are these SELECT Plans. It states that the activation fees will be waived and credited within 2-3 billing cycles.

There is NO mention of any $250 rebate for any Unlimited Plan or for ANY $20 activation fees for any plan. (Verizon's online only activation fee is $20, but it's regularly $40).
It looks like the $250 rebate for the Start Unlimited may still be effective until 7/1 but it's doubtful it'll be in effect past 7/1. OR it may disappear at any time.

So act accordingly.

Trying to get in touch with a person at Verizon to get clarification is near impossible, Sprint on the other hand is very accessible.
FWIW chatted with Verizon...The rep stated that the $250 is still active for the Start unlimited. $300 is for do more or play more plans. Hmm which plan to get...?

Also, are you including $10/line for autopay?

In completing the GV port-in form, you should specify the correct Sprint account holder's name as per Sprint's records but it does not have to be the same name as you have on your Google Voice Account.

Thanks so much. That answers my question. The Google account can or will have a different name but I do have choices too. Getting ready to port it to Google as it was our old land line # and I prefer to keep it. I'm going to use it on the Obi so it returns as a home phone.
