I was looking for a ice chest, water cooler for camping and came across this. I saw a good price for this 120 quart cooler. can find it here on Amazon [amazon.com] free shipping.

I didn't want that big of a chest but the 100 quart version is $85 at time of posting this. and i just got back Walmart and they had the 150 quart version for $85. I was comparing it to the 70 quart one from Costco with wheels but kept reading the wheels fall off. going camping next week and just gonna settle with this. ill just make sure i have plenty of people to help lift it Big Grin

I purchased this last year for $59 (120 Quart model). Good product.

Calling it a '6 day' cooler in 90F temps is stretching things more than a little, but you should get 3 days out of this in the summer without adding more ice.

The handles a fairly solid, and two people can move it even when moderately full of ice without worry that the handles will rip off.

It has three hinges which are metal--this is a big bonus when comparing to some of the competition (like Igloo) which use plastic hinges (and some only have two plastic hinges). Plastic hinges do not last long in my experience.

If you need a big cooler, this one should fit the bill for most people.

I've had Costco's 70qt for about four years. The wheels are pretty solid...

anybody knows if I can fit 1/4 keg beer in it? I believe 1/4 keg size is 12"D X 24"H.

Not if it needs to be upright. Approximate dimensions of mine at the narrowest points are 31 inches long x 14 inches wide by 12.75 inches high (higher in the center, but at the edges the lid blocks some of the height--see OP's picture).

I bought the Coleman extreme Hunter 120 a month ago on Amazon for maybe 3 bucks less than this. Decent price but nothing amazing I think.

I wish they made all coolers in white, not sure what marketing genius thought dark colors on something that holds ice was a good idea.

OP mentioned considering the Costco cooler instead, but being concerned about reports that the wheels were not solidly designed.
