The 12 pack is made in China... that says it all.

Save your money and get the 8 pack Amazon branded Eneloops.

If they are made in Japan, then there is only one Ni-Mh AA/AAA factory in Japan owned by FDK/Fujitsu. It makes Eneloops side by side Amazon basics and Fujitsu LSD's.

Wondering if I should get more...

Also jumped on this deal in February, but got a black tops, but made in Japan. I thought that only white tips where rebadged Eneloops. Not worth the risk for me.
