If you keep getting a message about the transaction being declined and switching to a different card doesn't work, sign out of the Starbucks for Outlook plugin and sign back in. Just spent a good 10 min trying to figure that one out.

You should received the $5 promo immediately after purchasing...at least I did.

Send a $5 Starbucks eGift to a friend with a tap of a button and get by using Microsoft Outlook Add-in and get a $5 eGift from Microsoft.

And Yes, you can send it to yourself and get two $5 at the cost of one.

I have tested it and its working fine for me. Just create a new email, add the contact in TO, and look for starbucks icon in the format section. You will be all set to go.

Here is the link of the add-in: Microsoft Add-In for Starbucks [office.com]

Yeah had same problem - if you search for 'Outlook' in the search box on the Starbucks site it will give you a good link.

I got "Transaction Declined" inside Outlook. Tried to log out and log in several times and it still doesn't work.

Edited: Never mind. This time I log out of Starbucks within Outlook and log in again. It works. Last time, I did with Outlook but didn't bother Starbucks add-in.

Man, too many steps including signing up for outlook. Not worth it for me for $5.
