This looks like a rebranded index pool. We paid 400 for the 18 ft and this is our 4th year. Absolutely love it for the money spent.

I've been researching pools like crazy, just bought intex 24x12x52. Debated on this pool but reviews were horrid about rusting issues, severe ones that caused collapsing. I paid $714 shipped after a price match @Academy. Won't get that good of a deal no bc Amazon raised $100, but price match Amazon and Academy will beat it by 5%.

Academy price matches Wal-Mart, not sure if they carry this specific pool tho.

With this much water you'll want to get the Intex sand filter with salt water system. Just make sure it's all compatible with this pool.

Be prepared to do a lot of maintenance and chemicals with one of these pools. They're great to have but I felt like I spent more time getting it ready for swimming than actually swimming.

And yeah, that little pump will not work for this size pool. The sand filters are supposed to work much better but aren't exactly cheap.

I've got the smaller version of this. Summer number 2 and still no leaks or issues. The pump is useless so be prepared to get a much larger one. Also, get a vinyl brush so you can scrape the dirt / algae off the walls. And get a vacuum cause the pool is too big for the pump to pick up the dirt from the middle of the floor.

Have intex version of this in NY. Good price. We are in our 3rd season and didn't take it down. We have the salt system and upgraded to sand filter on Amazon 2700ga/hr. We had a 20' one before...so 7 years. Yes. I'm worried about the rust issue especially with the salt version. Rusts from inside out. Better than spending 25k for inground and 6k for above ground.

Rebranded Intex pool, good price. Replace the cartridge filter and pump for the Sand Filter and pump and add the salt water system. Very easy to do and maintenance is easy. just follow the guides at www.troublefreepool.com and you will be fine. I have the 20' version of this and just might pick this up to get just that little extra space.

I bought the 24' version of this last year after having a 16' Intex for 5 years. I take them down in the winter. This Coleman isn't going to last nearly as long as the Intex did as it is rusting severely. I have more rust on the Coleman on the second year than I did on the Intex after 5 years. It rusted almost immediately despite looking like the same frame as the Intex (the Intex didn't start rusting until year four or five). They must have cheaped out on the construction since I bought the first one or use cheaper materials on the Coleman one.

All in all it is worth the money because we've gotten more than our money's worth out of this $500 pool but yeah, it rusts like crazy.

I didn't even try the included filter because I upgraded to the sand filter mentioned here a few times a couple years ago. I also use the Intex salt water chlorine system which is on its seventh year.

Pros:
Cheap
Easy set up
Lots of fun

Cons:
Shoddy construction (compared to the Intex I bought in 2010)
Poor filtration set up (no skimmer, cheap water outlets from the filter)
Poor included accessories (filter, ladder, vacuum)

I liked the 16' Intex much better. It's possible they've cut costs on those as well since I bought the last one in 2010.
