This is going on sale for $999 starting 6/29 at Costco. This is a good deal if you don't have a membership or a costco nearby.

ya costco is gonna have it for 999, not sure how much it's gonna be for non-member, but there is a code for 25 dollars off(look the post up), i ordered tonight hope can get a price adjust at 29th

So.... less RAM, same or similar CPU, lower resolution screen, smaller SSD and no spinning disk option, barely different GPU for about the same price? Other than "build quality" being the arbitrary deciding metric why would I get the Yoga? With the Yoga you're getting something closer to the build quality you expect with like a traditional ThinkPad?

You were right on several points here. I actually ditched to 1080p version and hopped on the Best Buy 4K Yoga 720 deal that is now front page. Freakin' Lenovo was not even going to ship out my 1080p laptop for 2 more weeks so it was easy to cancel.
