I could not find this deal on SD. Hence I am posting this deal that I found posted by hua000yun in another thread.
I am in the market to buy Projector for Home Theater system. Please share your opinion on Epson 2045 and experience buying Refurbished models from Epson.

I went back and forth between this model and the Benq HT2050, and finally chose the Epson, it's about $200 cheaper and by buddies who work in high end A/V custom retailers told me this is as good as it gets under $1k. They said stay away from DLP in this price range. DLP may give better blacks but overall this Epson is superior to anything in its class, beating even projectors selling for nearly twice as much. 3LCD is the way to go, or so I was told. Plus bulbs are way cheaper ($79) instead of over $200

would a throw range of 3.6 - 29.5 feet work?
I suppose it would if you're happy with a 40" screen
you didn't specify screen size, but 40" for 6 feet is not bad at all.
