Seems like a very good price... But I'm weary of open box also. I'm sure they'd take a return if it were bad, but I'd be shipping it to a p.o box and picking it up from Canada. Too bad l, it has all the specs I want Frown

This machine is incredible on paper but for some reason doesn't live up to it's promise in real life. The screen is eh, overall performance is eh, and it's bulky for a 2-in-1.

I've recently found out that people are surprised by this, I don't understand why? How would something thats been opened, used and returned not be considered open box? I understand that there are other things like display models.

Ebay's definition of "New (Other) is "New," not used.. So if it is used, it cannot be "excellent." I know what "open-box" means and there are other other vendors which truly sell "new" items without it's original packing, or damaged packaging. That IS NOT BB's policy.

While the i7 processor is a "U" low-power version (so you're not going to replace your workstation with this), the 16GB and the 512GB SSD will make this thing pretty fast. I prefer the power sipping processor for better battery life, although the discrete graphics card is working against me, there.

I wish, however, that this unit would have been Miracast compatible, so I could buy a Miracast HDMI dongle and wirelessly display an extended desktop on my HDTV. Oh, well.

I picked up the "open box excellent" version for $879.99. Great deal!

If someone wants the data point: only one out of my eight "open box" laptop purchases at BestBuy.com was unsatisfactory. Returning that one wasn't a problem.

Got one open box satisfactory today for $715 at my local Best Buy. Only missing paperwork. Sid minor scratches but I couldn't find any. Associate says he was surprised on the condition rating. Would recommend calling your local Best Buy as they may have these cheaper than the $840.

For the price, you can get 1050/1050 Ti models. The 950M is older generation and much less powerful.
