Tivo Lifetime Transfer (Second Chance Lifetime Sale) is back. Sale ends 6/30/2017 or while supplies last. Free Shipping and Free 30 day returns. Must buy Tivo from Tivo.com. $99 to transfer Lifetime from a series 2 or 3, or HD that dialed into Tivo service between 6/22/2016-6/22/2017. It may be a targeted email, it specifically mentioned my TSN for my Lifetime Tivo HD.

My TiVoHD never actually got deactivated from the original deal. The only difference I see here is that all but the BOLT+ are renewed units. This will prevent the use of Citi Price Rewind to match prices to Amazon. Nonetheless, I'm interested. Were we supposed to receive emails with actual promo codes?

Use your Series 2/3 DVR's TSN # as your promo code at checkout.

Were you able to use the same TSN from the original deal for this deal?

Yup. At least in the cart. I got that original deal over the phone so that might make a difference.

Ultimately, I got cold feet and didn't checkout. I'm debating if the hassle to flip it on eBay is worth ~$200 profit. Maybe I'll ask around friends and family and see if anyone wants one at cost.

I was going to give the zombie TiVoHD to my parents but it's excruciatingly slow and still requires a $5/month cablecard via FiOS.

If you can lookup the TSN numbers, you can try entering them as promo codes at checkout and verify for yourselves.

I'm curious if you can use the same TSN to buy more than one if it isn't actually deactivating it.

BTW, the bolt+ appears to be new, not renewed. All the other bolts are renewed though.
