Yes. I'm running Plex with DVR on my Shield with a HDHOMERUN and can watch, record, playback on any of my TV's running Plex or on my iPhone. I'm using the Shield as a Plex Server, so I don't need my computer running 24/7. It's awesome and I save a ton on cable. Have Kodi as well with many cool apps.
